Gunnison Copper Corp (TSX:GCU, OTCQB:GCUMF, FRA:3XS0) has received pre-clearance for a proposed NYSE American listing under the ticker "GUNN," broadening US investor access to the Phoenix-headquartered copper company.

The company is plannine a Level II ADR program, with each ADR representing 35 common shares, that would give US investors a dollar-denominated, exchange-listed security, with trading expected in late October.

Its common shares would continue to trade on the Toronto Stock Exchange under "GCU."

Gunnison's mining and development assets are entirely in Arizona. Its Johnson Camp Mine has annual capacity of up to 25 million pounds of finished copper cathode, and the company supplies copper to the US defense sector and Amazon Web Services. It is a member of the Defense Industrial Base Consortium.

The March 2026 preliminary economic assessment (PEA) for the flagship Gunnison Project estimates average annual production of 174 million pounds during its first 15 years. That would create potential combined annual output nearly eight times Johnson Camp's nameplate capacity, subject to development of Gunnison and continued operation of Johnson Camp at capacity.

"Copper connects some of America's most powerful investment themes: artificial intelligence, electrification and national defense," said Craig Hallworth, Gunnison's CEO.

"We brought Johnson Camp from construction decision to production in under 18 months, an exceptionally fast timeline that demonstrates our ability to execute with urgency and discipline. We intend to bring that same urgency to accelerating the Gunnison Project."

Toronto-listed shares of Gunnison Copper added around 2.3% on Monday.
