Indutrade stock went into today on the back foot, with the share price down about 8.6% over the past week and slightly lower over one month, even though the last three months were mildly positive. Then Q3 2026 landed with a clean headline. Earnings per share reached 2.21 SEK and EBITA margin for the quarter was 15.3%, supported by a 19% jump in EBITA.
The market reaction looks short term. The bigger story is a business leaning into acquisitions, producing rolling 12 month operating cash flow of 4.3b SEK and keeping net debt to EBITA around 1.6.

Indutrade's Backlog Thesis Meets Early Cash And Margin Tests
The bullish view hinges on Indutrade turning contract momentum and disciplined overheads into sturdier earnings power.
"The main thing that has to go right is that Indutrade converts its record order books and margin accretive acquisitions into sustained earnings development while keeping SG&A from rising in line with sales."
Q3 gives tangible markers. Order intake kept book to bill around 101% and backlog about 11% higher, so the pipeline is still filling. That is now feeding through to income, with EBITA up 19% and margin at 15.3%. Operating cash flow of 1.2b SEK in the quarter and 4.3b SEK on a rolling basis signals that acquired earnings and cost control are turning into cash, not just accounting profit.

Indutrade Bear Case: Margins Clear, Volume Doubts Linger
Bears argue that Indutrade's weak organic volumes and project exposure cap earnings progress even when orders look healthy.
"Although Indutrade reported stronger order intake and an improving book to bill ratio in 2026, the flat organic net sales and 13.3% EBITA margin in Q1 2026 show that low organic volume growth can still absorb pricing gains."
Q3 cuts against that fear on profitability. Organic sales grew 5%, order backlog rose 11% and EBITA margin reached 15.3% with 19% EBITA growth. Cash conversion stayed strong at 1.2b SEK in the quarter. The concern on structurally flat volumes is not resolved though. One quarter of mid single digit organic growth does not yet prove a new trend against earlier flat readings.
