Loomis (OM:LOOMIS) Stock Catches Attention After Record Q3 Earnings

Loomis stock closed at SEK557 on Friday, just as investors digested a punchy Q3 2026 update that signaled record firepower rather than fatigue. The company posted SEK8,161m in quarterly revenue and basic earnings per share of SEK10.31, both sitting comfortably at the top of its recent range.

Short-term traders may focus on the recent single digit share price gains over the past week. Longer term holders are more likely to zoom out to the multi year earnings record, the 12.7% earnings growth over the last year and the model based valuation that still prices the shares on a P/E of 18.4x.

Like the earnings traction at Loomis but want that mix of multi year delivery, double digit profit growth and a P/E that still leaves some headroom? Line this update up against our 204 high quality undervalued stocks to see how it compares on quality and valuation.

Loomis Integration Goals Meet Record Margin Milestone

Bullish analysts have framed Loomis as an execution story around deals and profitability, not just revenue noise.

"The main thing that has to go right is for Loomis to successfully integrate and improve newly acquired operations such as Hermes and Transportadora del Interior while maintaining EBITA margins in the upper half of its 12% to 14% target range."

On that score, Q3 2026 is a clear milestone. The rolling 12 month EBITA margin sits at 13.7%, which is inside the upper half of the 12% to 14% band. Latin America acquisitions in Argentina are already accretive, and Hermes closed in October, so investors now have a live test of whether this integration story can hold that profitability line.

Loomis Margins Test Precious Metals Bear Case

The cautious view says Loomis is living off a precious metals sugar high, so the question is whether this quarter shows that risk biting yet.

"International and FXGS volumes are described as cyclical and currently supported by high precious metals prices and strong silver shipments, so a cyclical downturn in these flows or a pullback in gold and silver prices could reduce high margin transport activity and put pressure on revenue and operating margin."

Record Q3 revenue above SEK 8.1b and a group EBITA margin around 15% point the other way for now. International growth above 25% and top tier U.S. profitability indicate the cyclical drag some investors fear has not appeared in these results.

Hunt For Quiet Mispricings

Loomis just showed how a busy quarter can leave uncertainty about what the market is rewarding. The real opportunity is finding stocks that could be undervalued before sentiment adjusts to new information.

  • Company 1 - 48% below our estimate - builds maritime sensing and tracking equipment as contract backed products and acquisitions support a growing order pipeline.

  • Company 2 - 33% below our estimate - supplies solar tracking and control systems as newer storage and inverter offerings expand its installed base and project backlog.

  • Company 3 - 21% below our estimate - provides compressed air, vacuum and tool systems as chip related demand channels more orders toward higher margin service and aftermarket contracts.

That is three of the list. See the full list of 204 companies trading below our fair value estimates →
