If FACC was on your watchlist rather than in your portfolio, the result may feel like a painful near miss. For FACC shareholders, the return over the past year was 54.2%, including dividends. That outcome now sits alongside fresh numbers that show higher revenue but a thinner net margin in Q2 2026. So what could have tipped you off a year earlier that growing composite content per aircraft might matter more than short term margin pressure?
The easy part of this move is behind FACC. Zero in on 197 high quality undervalued stocks for companies trading below our estimates.
The Argument FACC Investors Had To Weigh Up
The shares cost €8.7 at the start of the period, and anyone looking at FACC then had to choose between two storylines that both sounded reasonable.
On the optimistic side, the bull Narrative pointed to a Fair Value of €10.17. This was a rough guide to what the stock might be worth if its thesis played out, built on air travel growth and wider use of advanced composites boosting FACC content per aircraft.
The bear Narrative worked off a Fair Value of €7.4 and focused on rising regulatory demands and raw material costs. The risk was that higher compliance spending and limited pricing power would keep long term margins under pressure.
What The Results Changed For FACC
FACC's Q2 2026 report gave both stories something to work with. Revenue moved from €253.712 million in Q2 2025 to €268.168 million in Q2 2026, which supported the growth and content-per-aircraft angle. Net income slipped from €9.292 million to €7.984 million and net margin moved from 3.7% to 3.0%, which challenged the cleaner profitability path. The evidence pointed in both directions.
The lesson is simple. When a thesis depends on future margin improvement, track that claim directly. Watch whether net margin, not just sales, aligns with the narrative in each set of results.
What FACC's Price Now Asks You To Believe
FACC trades at €13.4 today after a 54.2% gain over the past year. The selected Narrative argues that its Fair Value sits above the current price, based on demand for lighter aircraft structures and execution on efficiency and automation plans.
That view leans heavily on one testable idea. A buyer now has to judge whether FACC can keep turning its CORE program and new Austrian plant into sustained free cash flow gains and higher margins.
"The main requirement is that FACC continues to execute on its CORE efficiency program and capital investment plan so that improved free cash flow, lower leverage, and higher margins remain on track despite fastener cost pressure, OEM delivery adjustments, and elevated inventory."
