Organic sales growth– which measures the rate of sales growth entire through existing operations– rose to 4.0% in the three months to September 30, picking up from 3.7% in the prior quarter.

Reported sales were 22.76 billion Swiss francs ($28.4 billion), up from 21.64 billion a year earlier. Sales in the nine months to September 30 were largely flat at 65.87 billion francs.

Nestle said it continued to expect 2026 organic growth of 3% to 4%, an improved underlying trading operating profit margin and free cash flow above 9 billion francs.

"Our execution is driving stronger growth," Chief Executive Philipp Navratil said in a statement.

Asia, Oceania and Africa were the biggest sales drivers, rising 6.4% organically, with India up 20% and Greater China up 4.2%. Nestle Waters & Premium Beverages grew 12.3%, helped by hot weather in Europe. Americas sales grew 3.3% and Europe 1.2%.

Nestle said its Russian business was no longer consolidated from the end of September after being placed under temporary external administration. The unit made up about 2% of group sales, and its deconsolidation will add about 0.9 billion francs to year-end net debt.

In September, Nestle agreed to sell its mainstream vitamins and supplements business to Yellow Wood Partners for $1.0 billion.
