Along with its results, Oklo has signed a manufacturing deal with U.S. Forged Rings, Inc. to support the future rollout of its Aurora powerhouses. The deal will give Oklo access to planned U.S.-based manufacturing capacity for large reactor parts. This could help the company avoid supply delays as it expands its nuclear power projects.
Under the agreement, Oklo will reserve production capacity at U.S. Forged Rings' planned site in Hertford County, North Carolina. The first finished parts are expected to be delivered in 2030. The agreement covers production through 2035, with an option to expand capacity.
Analysts Remain Bullish on OKLO Stock
Before the earnings report, Wedbush analyst Seth Basham
initiated coverage of OKLO stock with a Buy rating
and a $36 price target, implying an upside of 87.5%. He called Oklo the most advanced company among U.S. advanced nuclear developers. Basham also stated that Oklo stands out from its peers
because it works across three areas: power, fuel recycling, and isotopes. He said many rival companies are still in the early stages of regulatory review and do not yet have operating assets.
Meanwhile, B. Riley's analyst Ryan Pfingst
lowered his price target on OKLO to $61 from $92
but maintained a Buy rating. He noted that the nuclear and uranium stocks under the firm's coverage have fallen by an average of 43% since the Russell 2000 hit a high on August 14. The decline reflects a pullback from high-beta stocks and pressure from elevated interest rates
on long-term growth stocks
.
Pfingst cut his price targets across the group to reflect the valuation reset. However, it sees attractive valuations and oversold stocks among companies whose investment cases do not depend on AI spending.
