PC Connection stock slipped 1% to US$85.62 into Friday's close, capping a month where the share price also edged lower. That looks cautious compared with what the business just reported for Q3 2026. The technology reseller posted net sales of US$874.3m and diluted earnings per share of US$1.24, both comfortably ahead of the prior year, yet the market reaction stayed muted.
Short term traders see a soft tape. Longer term investors see a company leaning on higher net sales and expanding operating income, while also facing fresh questions about how sustainable those gains look once current demand normalizes.

PC Connection's AI Services Ambition Faces Margin Reality Check
Optimists argue PC Connection can tilt away from basic hardware toward richer services work.
"Ongoing shift in customer demand from commodity hardware toward integrated IT solutions and managed services, reinforced by recognition as Dell's 2026 North America Channel Services Sales Partner of the Year and Broadcom's VMware Americas Rising Star Partner of the Year for 2025, supports a mix shift toward higher margin offerings that can lift net margins."
Record Q3 net sales of US$874.3m, higher gross billings and a 27% net income uplift show that demand and execution are lining up. Yet gross margin slipped to 18.5% and each segment margin edged lower. Awards and backlog look like real milestones, but the promised richer mix is not yet visible in reported profitability.
Cash Conversion Concerns Meet Working Capital Build
The bear view centers on whether PC Connection can keep funding this push without cash strain.
"Cash flow volatility and pressure on working capital, which is already visible in the recent use of US$49.5m in operating cash due to higher inventory and an US$80.6m increase in receivables, could persist and limit PC Connection's ability to convert earnings into free cash flow and support capital returns."
Year to date operating cash used of US$39.8m, a US$144.8m jump in receivables and an US$83m inventory build show that pattern continuing. Record earnings and higher trailing 12 month adjusted EBITDA of US$155.2m have not translated into stronger free cash cushions. The dividend was maintained, yet capital returns still lean on an already large US$343.3m cash pile.
