Kraft Heinz Co. ( NYSE:KHC ) rose 0.50% intraday as RBC Capital initiated coverage with an Outperform rating and a $32 price target, implying 29% upside from $24.73.
RBC says a divisional analysis and conversations with trade contacts point to real change at the company, though it expects most of that to show up in 2027 rather than this year. Its 2027 forecasts for organic revenue growth and earnings per share both sit above consensus.
Kraft Heinz reported second-quarter adjusted earnings of $0.56 per share against expectations of $0.53, with revenue of $6.26 billion against $6.11 billion. Kraft Heinz raised its organic sales outlook for the year and lifted incremental investment by $100 million to around $700 million, with CEO Steve Cahillane saying the acceleration positions the business "even more favorably as we enter 2027."
