C3 Metals Inc ( TSX-V:CCCM , OTC:CUAUF ) has extended copper mineralization 200 metres eastward at its 100%-owned Khaleesi project in southern Peru, with two new drill holes intersecting broad zones of near-surface copper and one hitting higher-grade skarn at depth.

Hole KHZ5960-004 returned a near-surface 101.9-metre zone of mineralized gabbroic diorite grading 0.31% copper, 0.025 grams per tonne gold, 1.06 g/t silver and 64 parts per million molybdenum (0.38% copper equivalent) from 28.4 metres downhole.

The hole then cut a 70.9-metre interval of magnetite and pyroxene-garnet skarn grading 0.53% copper, 0.036 g/t gold, 0.88 g/t silver and 112 ppm molybdenum (0.62% copper equivalent) from 376.6 metres.

Hole KHZ5960-005 intersected an 81.3-metre zone of mineralized diorite grading 0.27% copper, 0.021 g/t gold, 0.84 g/t silver and 54 ppm molybdenum (0.33% copper equivalent) from 36.7 metres. It did not intersect the magnetite skarn at depth. Mineralization remains open in multiple directions.

"Drilling at Khaleesi continues to demonstrate the broad distribution of copper mineralization," said Dan Symons, C3's CEO. "As we continue to advance our understanding of this large mineralized system, our exploration strategy remains focused on identifying and testing prospective areas across the project."

The holes were designed as roughly 100-metre eastern step-outs from KHZ5960-001, which was drilled beneath glacial till and returned 109 metres grading 0.29% copper (0.39% copper equivalent) from 45 metres, followed by 118 metres of magnetite skarn grading 0.30% copper (0.37% copper equivalent) from 354.9 metres.

To date, about 16,830 metres have been drilled in 38 holes from 17 platforms, with one more hole in progress. Drilling is targeting a northeast-trending contact between a multi-phase intrusive complex and carbonate rocks of the Ferrobamba Formation along the Andahuylas-Yauri copper belt.

C3 Metals has completed drone magnetic and gravity surveys, expanded 65% to 1,500 hectares, with the data now being inverted. The combined datasets have proven valuable in targeting copper-bearing magnetite skarns beneath thin glacial till cover, and drill core measurements support the model.

A 3DIP survey launched in late September is 65% complete and on track to finish in the fourth quarter of 2026. The survey will help identify potential porphyry sources or causative intrusives by mapping sulphide content and rock conductivity and resistivity to a depth of about one kilometre.

Shares of C3 Metals gained nearly 5.6% on Tuesday morning in Toronto.
