Q & A Highlights
Q: With Sea Ripple's current 55% utilization heading into FY27, do you see opportunities to further contract rooms over the course of FY27? A: Yes, we expect to have greater visibility over additional room contracts. Currently, Rio Tinto is taking 100 to 200 additional rooms monthly, and we anticipate this trend to continue. We are in discussions with major customers to expand their contracted room banks for FY27.
Q: New South Wales has been challenging for Building Solutions. What are the key challenges in that market? A: New South Wales is a significant construction market, but there is less penetration of modular solutions compared to other states. We need to understand if our challenges are due to not having the right solutions or targeting the wrong segments. The speed to market offered by modular solutions should be advantageous, but we need to explore this further.
Q: Regarding the $215 million order intake for Building Solutions, do you expect all of it to convert to revenue in the second half? A: The $215 million order intake includes some consumption in the first half. We closed with $157 million work in hand, and we expect second-half revenue to be higher than the first half. We also recently secured a $15 million contract for the Olympic Dam project in South Australia.
Q: Is the remaining RV Solutions business still for sale, and what is its annualized revenue? A: We have right-sized RV Solutions, closing manufacturing and selling the plumbing business. The remaining business is a pure-play distributor of retail accessories. If a reasonable offer from a more natural owner arises, we would consider exiting. The remaining business is smaller but expected to remain profitable.
Q: With two modern camps under construction in Karratha, are you concerned about Sea Ripple's ability to attract clients? A: We are aware of the new camps and monitor demand closely. We work with major clients like Rio Tinto and Woodside to balance accommodation needs and have developed prototype rooms tailored to their requirements for potential long-term contracts.
