Gunnison Copper Corp ( TSX:GCU , OTCQB:GCUMF, FRA:3XS0 ) is bringing its American copper story to Wall Street, with plans to list American Depositary Receipts on the NYSE American under the ticker "GUNN".
The Phoenix-based company said the listing will give US institutional and retail investors broader access to a domestic copper producer with a major growth project in Arizona.
Trading is expected to begin on or about October 26, subject to the effectiveness of its registration statement with the US Securities and Exchange Commission and final exchange approvals. Each ADR will represent 30 common shares.
"Trading on the NYSE American under the symbol GUNN is an exciting next step for our company and an important opportunity to bring Gunnison's story to a broader US investment audience," said CEO Craig Hallworth.
Gunnison produces finished copper cathode at its Johnson Camp Mine in Arizona and supplies the US defense sector and Amazon Web Services. It is also advancing its flagship Gunnison Copper Project, about 1.5 miles from Johnson Camp.
The ADR listing is complementary to the company's existing listings on the Toronto and Frankfurt stock exchanges and does not affect its common shares.
