Understanding 21Shares 2x Long Dogecoin ETF
To put it simply, an ETF is a type of investment fund that you can buy and sell on the stock market, just like a regular stock.
A meme coin is a type of cryptocurrency that is created as a joke or a prank on the mainstream crypto industry. Influenced by internet memes and trends, it gains popularity through social media or celebrity endorsements, rather than traditional fundamentals like utility or innovation.
Launched in 2013, Dogecoin is the first meme coin that began as a prank on Bitcoin (BTC), the first decentralized cryptocurrency. But praise from billionaire Elon Musk made it a very popular token.
With a market capitalization of over $25 billion, it is the ninth-largest cryptocurrency.
Launched on Nov. 19, 2025, the 21Shares 2x Long Dogecoin ETF (Nasdaq: TXXD) is a high-octane way to gain indirect exposure to the popular meme coin.
A twice-leveraged fund, TXXD aims to deliver twice the daily performance of Dogecoin. For investors seeking amplified crypto exposure, the leveraged fund is a popular choice.
The launch coincided with FalconX acquiring 21Shares which boosted the fund manager's distribution strength.
Notably, 21Shares also partnered with House of Doge, the corporate wing of the Dogecoin Foundation, in April 2025 to launch what it called the only Dogecoin ETP endorsed by the Dogecoin Foundation.
