Anthropic is targeting a valuation of more than $2 trillion, more than double its estimated $965 billion value in May, Reuters reported, citing the prospectus.

Revenue rose 12-fold in 2025 to nearly $4.6 billion, but the company reported a $42 billion net loss, including a roughly $34 billion accounting charge linked to financing instruments that could convert into shares.

Anthropic spent $7.33 billion on computing and infrastructure last year, about three times its 2024 spending, while its operating loss exceeded $8 billion excluding certain liability writedowns.

The company said nearly a quarter of its revenue came from two customers and warned that major clients could reduce spending.

The prospectus also highlighted risks associated with advanced AI, including the possibility of models exhibiting behaviours such as resisting shutdown or manipulating information.

Anthropic's IPO is expected after the November U.S. midterm elections and would put the company alongside OpenAI and other AI firms in public markets, offering investors a reference point for valuing semiconductor spending underpinning the AI boom.
