374Water Inc (NASDAQ:SCWO, FRA:8LL) will present new destruction-efficiency data for its AirSCWO supercritical water oxidation technology at WEFTEC 2026 in New Orleans, the company said Tuesday.
374Water's Technical Solutions Manager David Garb will deliver a 30-minute presentation on using AirSCWO to treat PFAS, 6PPD-Q, and other emerging contaminants, backed by commercial-, bench-, and laboratory-scale data, while the company also staffs a booth at the conference.
Highlights include destruction and removal efficiency greater than 99.4% for every PFAS compound detected in a commercial-scale biosolids demonstration, reduction of the tire-derived contaminant 6PPD-Q from an inlet concentration of 18 µg/L to non-detect, and greater than 99% reduction of chemical oxygen demand across mixed pharmaceutical waste streams.
The data builds on results released earlier in 2026 from a US Department of Defense project, in which AirSCWO destroyed more than 99.9% of PFAS in aqueous film-forming foam. The project supports a federal procurement pathway that 374Water is pursuing with Arcadis for federal deployment of AirSCWO.
"Demand for permanent destruction is accelerating across every market we serve," said Sunny Viswanathan, Vice President of Solutions at 374Water. "WEFTEC is where we put the data behind that versatility in front of the people who need it."
Shares of 374Water added 6.3% on Tuesday morning.
