Well, for the most part, stocks are doing very well and there are some key exceptions. So let's go to the Wi-Fi interactive and we're going to check out the price action.
Dow up over 1500 points. That is booked. That is as of the close. Let me show you the intraday chart here. And you can see it was up up and away from the start and we built on some gains there, just maintained and we had a little rally, uh fizzled out into the close, but guess what? 3% is a huge day for the doubt. That is the best day since April 9th, 2025.
That was a post-liberation a post- liberation day lift off. Here's the Nasdaq composite up a little bit less because the chip trade did not do so well today, coming up in a minute. But Nasdaq overall gained about 1 and a half percent. S&P 500, a little bit more. S&P 500 equal weight where every stock gets one vote, that was up even more. Uh closing in on 2%, small caps also had a pretty good day up 1 and a half percent.
So, across the cap spectrum, we'll even show uh show you micro caps in there. Doing pretty well. and bond yields sold off a little bit, so that means bonds were bid today. You can see the 10-year T-note yield down six basis points to 489, 30-year down about four basis points to 528. and the US dollar index, this is another thing I was tracking.
It was down today. The debasement trade was kind of on because let me show you something before I get to some heat maps. I want to show you gold futures. Best day in a while there for gold and guess what? Bitcoin up too over 3%. So there's your quasi debasement trade working out. And here's the sector action. Some sectors also having their best day since April of 2025.
