XTEND AI Robotics CEO Aviv Shapira joins Kristen Scholer on NYSE Live to discuss the Firm's Next Chapter After Going Public.
Well, a short time ago, we saw defense technology company Xtend AI Robotics ring that opening bell to commemorate its recent listing here on the NYC. Joining me now with more are Aviv Shapira. He's a co-founder and CEO of Xtend and Tal Harash, CFO of Xtend. Gentlemen, welcome and congratulations.
Let's start with you, Aviv. What was it like ringing that opening bell?
Once in a lifetime experience, uh, amazing. I mean, uh, so many people behind us, you know, we have about 200 people all over the road, celebrating this this amazing day for us. And uh, this is just the beginning.
Amazing day here, indeed, a lot of happy faces. Tal, I want to hear from you as the CFO. Why did you decide to list on the NYSE?
First of all, we want to get our company into the world and this is the place to do it. get access to capital worldwide and in in order to establish our US manufacturing and the all the physical AI platform worldwide.
Aviv, give us a better understanding as to how you would describe physical AI, which is what Xtend is all about.
Everyone is asking what is physical AI? So everyone is used to, you know, AI being like a text, you consult with, you know, recipes, how do you write a better email? Physical physical AI is actually taking a body, you know, AI that has a body, arms, legs, actually, you know, it replaces people in the most dangerous places on this planet. It can actually go into burning buildings, into underground tunnels, really protecting the people that keeps us safe.
the intersection between robotics and AI, that is physical AI.
What does this mean for the future of the robotic workforce?
So we're actually taking a different approach at robotics. Everyone is building robots and drones. We're actually building a platform that has the ability to actually get better and better with time using AI. You know, software is amazing today. Hardware is is is becoming a commodity and that intersection can actually replace human beings in the most dangerous and most complex environments on this planet.
Tal, what gives you confidence that this company can be scaled in this environment?
I think in general the defense tech is scaling. This is the right time, the right moment for us. Uh I think we we got the advantage on on all this market in terms of the the software on the platform and I think we are going to scale together with the access to the public market.
Aviv, give us a better sense as to what XOS is and how that factors in.
So XOS stands for Xtend Operating System, imagine like the Android of robotics. Basically, it does two very important things. One, it allows people to actually give their intentions instead of, you know, manually operating robots and drones. And then it also connects the, you know, the entire world together to actually give people the ability to create applications just like your iPhone or Android on our platforms. That is XOS.
Tal, quickly from you, how do you balance growth, of course with discipline?
Um we we want to to scale our production and growth all our platform through this access to the capital. Uh that requires a lot of compliance with the NYSE, we are ready, all the infrastructure in terms of finance, legal and compliance. we we are ready for it.
Aviv, finally anything more our viewers need to know on this big day for you here at the NYSE?
So, I think we're on a mission to make this world safer. It's much more than um you know, it's it's more than anything else anyone can ever imagine. You know, making the world safer is a mission for us. We wake up in the morning and this is what we do.
All right. Aviv Shapira, Tal Harash, CEO, CFO respectively, gentlemen, congratulations again and thanks for joining us here at the NYC on NYC Live.
