Video Transcript
Chris Easley with the Akron Beacon Journal here, standing outside the Browns', training facility here in Berea after day nine of the training camp concluded.
Forecast early rains this morning, plus, forecast that they thought would be some, some thunderstorms led them to, move things, move things indoors, close it to the general public.
But we were able to get in there.
They worked for ninety minutes, with, just in helmets.
To start with the quarterbacks, Deshaun Watson worked, with the ones as has been the, the rotation.
It was his turn.
And, and to be honest, Deshaun had another good day.
I mean, not everything was, was, was, was perfect, but on the whole, it was a day where, you know, Deshaun made th- a lot of the throws, had a really nice sideline route that, that Isaiah Bond made a, a good catch on.
Had a deep shot to Jerry Jeudy for a touchdown that was really nice.
And then capped the day, they had a, they had a period where down four, two timeouts, you have to go, forty-nine yards, to, to win the game with fifty-four seconds left.
And, Deshaun managed on the last play to, extend the play a little bit, find Isaiah Bond in the back of the end zone for the touchdown.
Then, as for Shedeur, just a little too up and down today.
One of the first plays he was, he was in on, they, they had to blow the play dead before, you know, the-- they had to blow the whistle because, of alignment.
And then, you know, had a couple of picks, one, overthrow Emmanuel McNeil-Warren.
Again, just a little too inconsistent today for, for, Shedeur.
So they're back at it tomorrow.
It's gonna be, it's gonna be a long one, full pads.
It will be open to the general public, barring, weather.
So, we shall see.
But A-and we shall see what, if there is any, any changes and adjustments to the, to, to, you know, rep, number of reps, as, you know, as they, they are now the This was the first day after install.
So until then, Chris Easley for the Akron Beacon Journal.
