Browns writer Chris Easterling recap: Deshaun Watson has better day
Akron Beacon Journal Browns beat writer Chris Easterling on team training camp Day 7 says that Deshaun Watson had a decisive day.

Chris Eastman from the Akron Beacon Journal here, back on day seven of Browns training camp.
The third of six consecutive practices this week for them, and, I guess the stor- the overarching story of today is, is Deshaun Watson's best day by far of camp.
He was back working with the ones.
He was sharp, he was decisive in his reads.
A-and I, I think that was the thing that, you know, for-- over the course of the first six practices we really hadn't seen from the veteran, and I think they wanted to see out of the veteran, was a more of a decisive, you know, decision-making process w- out of him when, you know, when he got the ball, whether it was delivering the football, which he did on several very good throws, especially on the, the slants and the crosses, o-over the middle.
And then when, when, you know, when there were runs called, he made a decision and ran.
And it, it was good to see out of him if you're, you know, because, you know, Shedeur was Shedeur today.
Basically, you know, what we've seen already, you know, which is good throws, you know, mostly good throws, accurate throws.
But, you know, he was with the twos, Watson was with the ones, so you, you take that into consideration.
Another thing to con- take into consideration is the center position is the latest position to be, overrun by, injuries or absences.
Luke Whippler was, snapping for the ones because both, Elgin, Jenkins, the number one center, and, rookie Parker Brailsford, the number two center, were, not practicing today.
Kingsby, Egekwan was, became the number two center, in, in Brailsford's absence, so, so it-it's something to monitor.
As for the defensive tackle group, which is, remains, remains, a, a, a, a, a position of, that's very thin.
Todd Monken said before practice that, he wasn't, he wasn't certain about Sam Kamara needing surgery after leaving practice yesterday.
And, but still five, top five cen- defensive tackles all on the sideline for practice today, but he did not sound like, outside of Kamara possibly, that it was, necessarily a long-term concern for now.
The-they, they will bring, need to bring-- Th-they have bodies that they've been bringing in, you know, with waiver wire, free-free agents, to kind of fill that, that void.
So on to day tomorrow, the fourth consecutive practice day, out, out of six this week.
