残念だった店（その2）～神保街炒飯屋一　料理は美味しいのだが‥Dissapointing Lunch 2～Fried rice ICHI

炒飯屋一
神保町の交差点から少し水道橋よりに歩いたところにあるチャーハン専門店。食べログ3.4超と高得点を獲得している。そういえば、新橋の「チャーハン王」にも久しく行っていないなあと思ったり‥。
This fried rice specialty restaurant is located a little closer to Suidōbashi from the Jimbocho intersection. It has earned a high rating of over 3.4 on Tabelog. Come to think of it, it’s been a while since I last visited “Chāhan-Ō” (Fried Rice King) in Shimbashi as well...

13時半を過ぎて客はまばら。炒飯のメニューの多さに圧倒される。無難な線をと思って注文した五目炒飯は890円と安くはないが、このボリュームなので文句はない。具も多く、御飯もパラパラで、味自体は悪くなかった。
It was past 1:30 PM and the restaurant was quite empty. I was overwhelmed by the large variety of fried rice dishes on the menu. I decided to play it safe and ordered the gomoku chāhan (mixed fried rice), which cost 890 yen—not exactly cheap, but considering the portion size, I had no complaints. The dish was generously filled with ingredients, and the rice was nicely separated; overall, the taste was decent.
しかし、不愉快だったのは店員の態度だ。店内が空いていたからだと思うが、女性の店員が、厨房の男性（いずれも大陸系と思われる）と、客のこちらが思わず萎縮してしまうほどの大声でずっと会話をしていた。男性の方は多少気を使っているのか、抑えめのボリュームだったが、女性に関しては、なんでこんなに声を張り上げねばならないのだろうと不思議なくらいだった。
あまり書きたくないんだけど、あちらの店員がオペレーションしている店って、店員がとても非礼だったり非常識だったりする店がたまにあるなぁと思ってしまう。
However, what left a bad impression was the attitude of the staff. Perhaps because the restaurant was empty, a female staff member was talking loudly with a male kitchen worker in a voice so loud that it made me, the customer, involuntarily shrink back. The male staff spoke more quietly, perhaps trying to be considerate, but the woman’s voice was so loud I couldn’t help but wonder why she felt the need to shout like that.
I don’t really want to write this, but sometimes I get the impression that restaurants operated by staff from that region occasionally have employees who are quite rude or behave unprofessionally.

金福源）も、店内ガラガラなのに、会計時にレジでいくら待っても店員が出てこなかったりと、オペレーションの怠慢さが不愉快で、最近はめっきり行かなくなってしまった。
That reminded me of similar case. The Chinese restaurant near my workplace, Kinfukugen (Tabelog link), I’ve hardly been going there because the staff’s poor operations bother me—for example, during checkout, no matter how long I waited at the register, no employee came out.
