Que te mejor pronto, Pablito!!! (;_;)
I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw the news about Pablo Aimar today.He was kicked his face by Pablo Ibáñez from Atlético Madrid.He lost conscious for a while.Some of his teeth were broken when he got hit.He couldn’t breathe normally once.I saw some pictures of the accident.These pictures showed me he was lying on the pitch, Mista tried to help him, he was bleeding from somewhere in his face and he was carried out of the pitch.My brain stopped working then.I was terribly worried about himNow, it seemed he recovered his conscious and wasn’t in a serious condition.And his teeth weren’t broken.I must watch the match on tomorrow night.It will be broadcasted by WOWOW.I’m sure I’ll stop breathing when I see the accident.I’ll pray for him (and his baby) to be able to play football again soon!

ventana secreta???
I went to see a movie called “Secret window”.I don’t know how to describe it.All I could say when I finished watching it was “Hum…”It was a really simple movie and easy to guess its ending.It might be better to read the original novel.I recommend you to watch it if you are a BIG Johnny Depp’s fan.If not…Well, it is your decision.I think he played his roll really well, but his roll wasn’t a tidy person, so his hair was almost always tousled with sleep.Anyway, he was a great actor!

Uno de mis actors favoritos es Kevin Spacey
I’ll go and see a movie called “Secret window”.I don’t know the English name of this movie.It is based on one of the Stephen King’s novel.I talked one of my English teachers and told him that I would go and see a movie this Saturday.He asked if I was going to see Secret Window.I was very surprised at his word, so I asked him why he knew that I was going to see.He said “Japanese girls love Johnny Depp”.I told him I wasn’t a big fan of him and he looked a little bit surprised.As a matter of fact, one of my favorite actor is Kevin Spacey.I read news that he made a movie of Bobby Daring.And he played a main roll.I was so happy to hear that!I knew he wanted to play it for a long time, but he wasn’t allowed to play by Bobby Daring’s family.The reason was, if my memory is right, Kevin was too old to play that roll.And they didn’t believe he could sing.I saw a movie called “Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil” and I heard him singing in the CD of the movie.His voice is soft and deep. I love his voice while he is singing.I’m sure Kevin will act and sing quite well in the Bobby Daring’s movie!

I phoned a dentist this afternoon.When I started to speak, I noticed something wrong.It was a recorded message.It said “I’m sorry to inform you that we are closed at the moment. We are open from 10 to 7:30 o’clock. Please call us again tomorrow.”I stared at the phone for a while and thought that it was weird.It was around 12 o’clock, so they must be open that time.I wondered if they forgot to turn off the answering mode of their phone.And I decided to go there and make an appointment.When I got there, there was a note at the door.It said “the holiday in this month as below. 14, 28 “Yes, they were closed today.I haven’t noticed that they have their holidays.But it is natural for them to have holidays in the week days.Because they are open on Saturdays…I must call them again tomorrow, or find other dentist!

Los Diarios De la Motocicleta
I went to see “The Motorcycle Diaries” in Ebisu.It was a movie which based on a novel of Ernesto “CHE” Guevara.So many people came to watch it, and it seemed the tickets were almost sold out every day.I expected it as a darker movie because I knew the main roll was Ernesto Guevara.He was a revolutionary of Cuba.That’s why I thought it would be a dark movie.You can’t expect a comedy if it was a movie of a revolutionary, can you?This story was his younger days.He was a simple young medical student who loved traveling.During his travel from Argentine to Venezuela, he encountered many local people and started doubting everyday life.He wondered why there always is some group of people.For example, rich and poor, nationality and so on.I liked this movie very much because it’s fun to watch and you would guess why Ernesto became a revolutionary if you want.This movie will be released in all around Japan soon.I recommend you to watch it, if you are interested in it!

Roma no fue construida en un dia.
I went to school to be counseled today.I took a GTEC test two weeks ago, and I was counseled from a clerk.She explained each terms and meaning of the score.I was really surprised at the score.It was better than I expected.She gave me an advice that I should keep learning, and using new vocabulary and phrases.I tend to use vocabulary and phrases that I know.It is far more comfortable for me to write or speak than using something new, as you know.Lately, I feel that it is much easier for me to speak or write in English than before.I suppose that writing this diary helps me to improve my English skills.I kept hearing my colleagues complaining these days.What were they complaining about?They had to write e-mails to their clients in English.They read aloud, and asked some help from their colleagues.I felt sorry for them but felt relieved at the same time.I didn’t have to write something in English for my work.I had a chance to give a presentation to one of our clients, but it was canceled.I remembered that I felt ill at that time.My GTEC score tells me that I can manage that situation.The only problem is I don’t have a confident, that’s all.The clerk at school told me that it was quite common reaction.Although you have English skill, you are still Japanese.Japanese always drew back, like “that is too difficult for me to handle”.I understood what she was telling me, but having confident is not easy to do.Ok, today’s proverb is “Rome was not built in a day.”

Que se mejor pronto, Sr. Ayala!
I got shocked that Valencia lost the game.I didn’t like the result but Michael Owen got the only score.That’s the only thing that I’m happy about it.I feel happy for Owen, but I feel like crying for Aimar and Valencia CF.I haven’t watched the game, so I can’t say anything about it.But I’m not the only one who hopes that Roberto Ayala will recover soon.Am I right?I got too shocked to write.Or am I lazy these days?

Habia terremotos grandes en la prefectura de Niigata ayer por la noche
There were big earthquakes in Niigata prefecture last night.It also shook Kanto area, so I felt them several times.Although my apartment is old, it is extraordinary to feel them that big, while I’m standing.They weren’t big enough to get scared, in my opinion, but I checked news on TV.The anchorperson looked upset, and he couldn’t be calm while he was reading the news.NHK kept broadcasting earthquake news only, so we could see how big the effects of the earthquakes were.I saw houses were collapsed, Shinkansen (Bullet train) was derailed, and landslides.Unfortunately, these earthquakes shook right after the big typhoon; these landslides were much easier to happen.I hope these quakes stops and Niigata will recover from this tragedy soon.

There is a football game between Real Madrid and Valencia tonight.Unfortunately, I won’t be able to watch it on live because I must work tomorrow.Both of them aren’t in a great condition lately, but we who love watching football expect to see a fantastic game.I’m a big Valencia’s and especially Aimar’s fan, so I expect Valencia will win this game.Aimar got back from his injury and I’m sure he will do a great play.On the other side, I suppose Owen will play this game, too.I also want to see his great dribbles!I’ll be happy to see him play well, but if Real Madrid wins this game, I won’t be able to feel happy with it!That’s quite uneasy feeling.There is a proverb in Japanese.Japanese - Onna gokoro to aki no sora English - Women’s minds and autumn’s skyEspañol – la mente de las mujeres y del cielo del otoñoIt is said these two changes a lot.For example, there is a girl crying, two minutes after, she is laughing.The autumn’s sky as well, it is clear in the morning, but starts cloudy in the afternoon, and rains in the evening.I’d like to explain one thing, I wrote “Onna gokoro to…” And “gokoro” is actually “kokoro” if you write it. Puedo ayudarle?
I saw two foreigners at my nearest station.They were standing at the stairs on my opposite direction.They looked lost which way to go.First they looked at their tickets and then looked at the direction.I thought I could do something for them, so I walked toward them.At that moment, one of them decided to climb the stairs.When I saw it, I moved toward the exit.But then, they came down the stairs again.I changed the direction to help them.However, I couldn’t help them, because one of them ran to the exit to ask a help from a station employee.He ran so fast that I couldn’t catch him up.Actually, I didn’t run at all.I didn’t want to show that I was eager to help them.It is funny that I want to help them but don’t want to show it at the same time.In my opinion, that is the feeling of the most Japanese feel if they are in my position.Is it strange???

Oh, Dear…Valencia lost last night’s game.It was a game of UEFA champions league.The game was 1-5 and Inter won this game.I wouldn’t admit that Inter was far too strong for Valencia.We still have a hope to win this league!One thing that I want to mention is Aimar got scored!!!I wrote several times in this diary that I really want to see his play!I know he isn’t in the best condition, but I hope he will get well soon.And show us his wonderful play!Apparently, Pablito Jr. was born in this month.I’m pretty much sure Papa Aimar will get scores as many as possible for his own child!!!

What is happening in Japan?Big typhoon strikes Japan again.Thanks for the cold that I caught, I didn’t leave home today.When I’m awake the news of typhoon keeps reported.Some trains are stopped.Some Rivers are flooded.The waves of the sea are really high.Trees are blown away because of the strong wind.There are landslips.People leave their houses for their safety.I haven’t experienced that big typhoons strikes several times in a year.Is it the proof of abnormal weather?

Tengo resfriado
Finally, I caught a cold.I was afraid to catch cold for a while.Last week, one of my colleagues took a day of because of cold. She claimed that she had a headache.My boss had a cold and she said she coughed really hard.Last weekend, my mother had a cold in the nose.What about me?I have a slightly headache, cough a little, have a cold in the nose and sneeze a lot.All three of them looked well today.It is said that you give the disease to someone else, you will get better.I got the disease from three of them, how I am kind person!!!I must pass it to someone else as soon as possible!

una buena estrategia de la comercializacio’n
It is very convenient to be able to send some money from convenience store.I sometimes use convenience stores for sending money.You can also send money from post office but it is impossible to do during weekdays.The reason is post office is closed at 5 o’clock, and the bank section is finished its service at three o’clock.It is difficult to go to the post office while I am working.So, I choose convenience store instead.The trouble is…I always buy something else.I usually buy snack or ice cream.It is a quite good marketing strategy, isn’t it?Apparently, Softbank is planning to buy a baseball team called Fukuoka Daiei Hawks.It is the third IT companies which is planning to have a baseball team.Is it a new trend for these companies?I don’t care whether they will have it or not.I hope they will have or make a good team!It is a good chance for Japanese professional baseball to make their fan happy if they can make a good team.In my opinion, that is the best way to solve their problem. And then, the number of their fun will rise. Don’t you think so?

I went to see Journey’s concert.I was thinking to buy the ticket, but I totally forgot about it.Then, why did I go there?It was my friend’s treat.I was really lucky!I used to listen to their music but it was quite a while ago, and I only know Steve Perry left the band.I wondered if I would feel when I hear their music.I guessed it would change the song’s image if lead vocal isn’t Steve Perry.Anyway, I enjoyed their performance. The lead vocal’s voice was quite similar to the Steve Perry’s one.I suppose I knew half of the songs they played, and I especially felt happy to hear “Separate ways”, “Don’t stop believin’”, “Faithfully”, “Anyway you want it” and of course “Open arms”.I remembered a part of the lyrics of those songs, so I really enjoyed listening to them.Actually, I enjoyed singing with them!I felt a little guilty that I got a free ticket, because one of my English teachers had said he would buy it.I’m trying to think this way, “I got this free ticket as a reward of my usual hard work”.Then I feel much better!After the concert, I wanted to eat something sweet.So, I went to Mister Donut to buy some sweets.The clerk packed sweets in a box and passed it to me.I noticed that some pictures were printed on it.I looked carefully, and read the words “Mister Donut is the official sponsor of Real Madrid C.F.”Oh dear…I must find other donut store to be a sponsor of Valencia C.F.!

Co’mo se siente?
I had a Hawaiian massage today.The massage salon was really popular, so I called yesterday to make a reservation.Once I had called them to book, they said it was full. That’s why I thought it was really popular salon.I arrived there much earlier than my appointment.I passed in front of the salon to kill time for ten to twenty minutes, and I saw the sign “Vacant: you can have a massage right now!”I got shocked…I started doubting their service quality.It isn’t cheap to have a massage in Japan. I admit that not only this but almost everything is expensive here.I came back in time and I had a massage.I got a really good and relaxing time but just a few times I felt great pain.It seems I have stiff neck (and shoulder), back ache and some trouble with the internal organs.That is my usual state. I don’t care so much.Whenever I leave these salons, I think I have to go to a gym.The problem is when I start exercising!

I buy tea every month by mail order.They sent me “loving tea” this month.It is a unique tea. It is called “drip tea”.I’m not sure “drip tea” is real English.It is made like coffee.Tea leaves are in a filter, so all I have to do is pour hot water.It is very easy for me to make a cup of tea in my office.Needles to say, it is easy to make a cup of tea by tea bags but I enjoy much stronger flavor by drip tea.I said to one of my colleagues “they sent me ‘loving tea’ this month. I guess this is what we must have. Or I should say what we are lacking of…” as a joke.She looked really confused and asked the name of the tea once more.I said it is “loving tea” but she still looked puzzled.Finally she said “what is DUBBING tea?”People around her, included me, stopped moving for just a second and started laughing real hard.Just a few minutes before this happening, we were discussing whether it is illegal to dub a CD for your friend or not.LOVING and DUBBING…It sounds like the same if you pronounce in Japanese way.If you are an English native speaker, it is difficult for you to understand what I am talking about.If you want to understand it, please ask your Japanese friend to pronounce it as REAL Japanese way.Then, you will know what I mean!As for us Japanese, it is quite difficult to pronounce in English correctly!

el pianist italiano
I went to see a jazz live performance.The live house was located very far from my house; it takes about 2 hours from door to door.The band was consisted from 3 Japanese, 1 American and 1 Italian.I heard this Italian is a cute guy, and I was very much looking forward to seeing him.He was cute. That was no doubt. But I must mention that he was too young.The leader of this band said he is twenty three years old.Some of the people at my table left their mouth open.In my opinion, it is rare the guy who is twenty three years old plays jazz piano as a pro and goes abroad.The truth was he came to Japan for playing the piano in the Kobe Jazz Street.Apparently, he won an award there. I forgot the name of the award…His piano was light. I don’t know how to describe it, but the word “light” was the best word his touch. I found it very unique way to play.Unfortunately, I didn’t have much money with me, so I couldn’t buy his CD.It was very far away from my home, so I had to leave there around nine o’clock.If only the location was close to my home, I could be there much longer…So sad.

Almuerzo del queso!?
During a lunch break, my colleagues were talking about their lunch.I heard some of them said “KESO lunch”.I asked one of them what “KESO lunch” was.She said the others explained her lunch looked like “KESO KESO”.I can’t explain what kind of food looks like “KESO KESO”, but I guess it looks like dry or anyway, it doesn’t sound delicious.I haven’t expected this, because I’ve heard the word “KESO” before.I racked my brains for the word, and finally I found out what it was.The word was “queso”.Queso is the word “cheese” in Spanish.I explained what “queso” means to them, but after that I regretted this.They might think that I was snobbish.That is a typical Japanese worry, isn’t it? “Queso lunch (Cheese lunch)” sounds very much normal to me.But I won’t buy Cheese ONLY lunch!

I read an article in the Japan Times.It was a very interesting story.I guess it was written by an English teacher and the story was a conversation between her and her colleague.Her colleague couldn’t sleep well the day before. The reason why this person - I think this person was male so I will use “he” instead from now on – couldn’t sleep was he didn’t have a confident of teaching English.He was afraid that his students started asking difficult grammar questions which he couldn’t answer someday.For example, what is the difference between “a” and “the”?It seemed He didn’t have a right answer.I found it really interesting that he had a sense of guilt.I’ve never expected this.I sometimes see classified ads in newspapers.Usually it is written that they want a native speaker but a person who has a degree of teaching English.I met a teacher who didn’t have a degree.Mind you, I know many teachers who have a degree and keep brushing up their teaching skills!In my opinion, it depends on the situation.Most of Japanese want to speak English but not seriously.Students want to speak or have a confident in speaking English.There is no life threat if you can’t speak English.Then, the teachers don’t have to have a degree.They require good personality and patience.If a person who will go abroad for his business and must have English skill in one month, he wants a teacher who has a degree.Anyway, students must consider carefully what kind of class they want to take.

He Acabado de leer un libro se llama “Cómo utilizar inglés, la manera de Nissan”Es un buen libro para los alumnos de inglés, especialmente las personas de negocios.Creo que este libro es para los japonéses, porque es escrito solamente en japonés!I finished reading a book called “How to use English, the Nissan way”.It was written by an English teacher who works for Nissan.I think this book is good for a person who in charge of education in a company and English learner, especially a business person.The some of the contents from this book are as below.1. How to select an English course2. How to learn English3. The structure of English sentenceI used to think that learning English takes long time and there is no other way.It is said you must listen to English for more than 2,000 hours and then you start speaking English fluently.That is the famous theory and I believed it.But generally, business person who needs English skill doesn’t have much time to learn.So this author said we, English learner, shouldn’t be perfectionist.We must think English as a tool, so you don’t have to speak like native English speaker.You can get information or let others understand what you want to say, that’s the main goal.It is very clear message to us.How can I use this information from now on?That’s the big issue that I have to think of!Perhaps, I must keep writing this weblog.Recently, I feel much easier to write in English, but I don’t care grammar too much, as you already know!

Typhoon passed yesterday.Usually after the typhoon passed, it is a fine day.It is called “TAIFUU IKKA (typhoon passing)” in Japanese.It is written “一 (one)” and “過(pass)” in Chinese character.But some people believe that it is written as “一家 (one family)”.This idea makes us feel typhoon more favorable???I went to a department store to collect the clothes that I had ordered before.So, I didn’t plan to buy anything.I just passed a CD shop, because it was a shortcut.That was a big mistake!I passed DVD section, and I saw the word “Discount!”I hadn’t noticed it but I was trapped there.There was “The third man” and it costs 1,500 yen.It is cheaper than usual, really.Today’s proverb“急がばまわれ”Internet dictionary translate this proverb like this.“Emergency turn”But the real meaning of this proverb isIf you are in a hurry, you should detour.There is no good thing happening when you are in rush. You must take time, be calm and think twice. Then, you can get the best result.

El tifo'n golpeo' alrededor del a'rea de Kanto
I went to a school to take an English test called GTEC.It is a computer based test. And there were 4 parts of this test, listening, reading, writing and speaking.I’ve never experienced a computer based test. My expression of GTEC was it is like a computer game.Although I was taking a test, I didn’t feel the pressure of attending a test site.In other words, I wasn’t serious at all…The test itself was hard.It usually takes 80 minutes.I didn’t know first but the clerk let me know that the contexts of this test depend on the examinee.It is like this, if you got the right answer, the next question is A. But if you got wrong answer, the next question is B.So you keep answering right, the question will be difficult.I guess my hunch was really good, so I got harder questions. There were 3 or 4 words to choose, but the word I understood was only one of them.When I faced a question like that, I used my hunch.Ok, I felt my choice was right, so I don’t really care! That’s the most important thing, isn’t it?The parts I felt really hard were writing and speaking.I haven’t experienced the test like this, so I didn’t know how to react.In fact, speaking to a computer is a little bit embarrassing.The difficulty of writing part was that the computer doesn’t check your spelling or grammar.I haven’t thought I had depended on my computer so much. In my opinion, people these days depend on their computer when writing something; nevertheless you are writing Japanese as well.Typhoon hit around Kanto area today.I had to change lines twice more to go home.And it took me more than 2 hours…That was awful!!!I was reading a book in a train, so I didn’t notice that time passed so much.When I got to my local station, all the trains were stopped its services.I was exhausted, you know taking a test and the way home like this, but I was really lucky!

Volvi de Roppongi Hills
I went to Roppongi Hills.I haven’t imagined to go there, because Roppongi is not a place for me.The image of Roppongi is, from my point of view, a place for foreigners.And Roppongi Hills is place for rich people.I’m Japanese, and not rich, unfortunately…The reason why I went there was to see a photo exhibition.There were photos of football players whom were chosen by Peré.Some of them had retired already, and I didn’t know most of them.I voted for Javier Saviola’s photo.That was the best (cutest?) photo of all, from my point of view.I noticed that most of the people who came to see this exhibition were woman.80% or more.I thought it was weird at first, but changed the opinion. Men doesn’t usually go and see some pictures of men. That’s quite natural!

Presidi una reunio’n
I chaired a meeting.I haven’t expected to chair the meeting, because I thought my boss would do it.When she sat a chair and said “go ahead”, I was about to say “What?”I was quite nervous before the meeting. There were two reasons.Firstly, I had a experience that I failed to chair a meeting. My colleague changed a roll and became a chairperson during the meeting.Secondly, there were some people who I couldn’t deal very easily. Some times we concentrate too much for one thing, and it takes much time to finish it.There was an executive and four managers in that meeting, so I had to finish it on time.I must finish it as soon as possible.The result was much better than I expected.I proposed three items, and all of them were almost accepted.All items need to hear some other department’s opinion, but the people who attended all agreed.I was very much content with the result.Being a chairperson is not bad than I thought! (^^)I’m listening YO-YO-MA’s music right now.The autumn night with classical music is fantastic.Autumn is the season for art and study.Of course, exercise and food, but I preferred it is for art.

Perdimos…
There was a football game between Korea and Japan.Unfortunately, we lost this game but the first team Japan’s goal was excellent!Morimoto’s eagerness, Hirayama’s technique and Watanabe’s luck let us score one goal.I got moved very much at the time they scored.There was a big earthquake right now.I was surprised at it, because it started from up and down movement.And it lasted a little bit longer than I expected.Apparently, the earthquake which starts from up and down movement becomes a big one.TV said there would no chance of Tsunami this time.I wonder if my friends who come from abroad are ok. I hope not they scared too much.

I took TOEIC today.I don’t want to admit it, but I fell asleep during the test.It wasn’t like “fall asleep” but “lose conscious”.I was reading some paragraph, and the next moment I noticed, it passed 5 minutes and the same thing happen again.I guess I have lack of sleep.I must sleep well tonight…

Hice algo mal?
I went to a post office to collect my stuff.I filled in a form, and there was a space for HANKO (seal).I had a seal with me but I saw it was printed the word “signature” below it, so I signed.After I returned my office, there was a call.It was from the post office, and the clerk said Japanese nationality must seal and it wasn’t allowed to sign.The clerk came to my office and I sealed the form.I was surprised at the rule that Japanese is not allowed to sign.I got used to use a seal, but I thought it was depend on you to seal or sign.I didn’t care so much, but I found it a little bit funny.More than that, I wondered why they knew where I worked.I often use the post office, but I didn’t write the information about my office.Am I celebrity around my office?Did I do something wrong there to be famous?I’ll take an English test called TOEIC tomorrow.Last time I took that test, I fell asleep for about fifteen minutes.I must keep awake this time!

Un dia terrible!
What a terrible day it was!I woke up 9:30 according to a clock in my room.I was planning to leave my house at 11:00, so I had a plenty time to prepare.I moved to living room, and I saw a clock.It was 11:40.I simply couldn’t believe it, and I checked other clock and asked my parents what time it was.It was 11:40, so the clock in my room didn’t show the right time.I was late for my appointment with my friends for about 30 minutes.I was thinking to be with them for one and a half hours, and move to the next appointment.But there was one hour left.Time flied, and I spent time with them for one and a half hours.So, I had to run for the next appointment.I was late for about 10 minutes this time.I was lucky because I was in time for the football game of Yokohama Marinos and Kashiwa Reysol.Unfortunately, Marinos lost this game. However I saw Tamada’s fabulous goal.I didn’t like some of the judges which the referee made. I think he gave some foul that weren’t necessary, and didn’t give some that were necessary.Of course, they are one of the reason Marinos lost the game, but they didn’t play very well today.Team Japan (Under 19) won, so I guess it was a good day today!?

In fact, they are my friends.I usually buy clothes by myself, so I choose them by myself.My friends always tell me that my fashion sense is out of the question!So, I let them choose clothes.Actually, this is the second time they choose my clothes.I had believed that I wouldn’t like the clothes they choose. I thought I didn’t like the up-to-date style.But last time they chose them, I noticed that there were clothes that I could buy.So I let them choose my clothes again.I wore a set of clothes, went out the dressing room, my friends stared at me, and brought another clothes.It was really funny, because if I thought that I didn’t like them, my friends didn’t recommend buying them.However my friends declined to buy something that I liked.Finally they chose a set of clothes that I was content with buying it.I still don’t know what the problem of my sense is. Tiene miedo de comptadora?
Some of my colleague will do a presentation tomorrow.They will use Microsoft PowerPoint for their presentation, so they did a rehearsal.One of them ran out of the room for almost 10 minutes later and said “Can anyone help us? We have no idea of connecting those lines of computers.”Other colleague went to help them.But I wondered how they perform their presentation.No one will be there to help them when they do their presentation.I hope there will be nothing which make them trouble.I’ll take two English tests next week.That’s a weirdest idea of all…Now I think that is a worst idea to two tests in a same week.But look at the bright side, it is better for me to finish these tests at the same time than to wait for long and feel exhausted.
