The name of the baseball team is Tigers. This animal is called in our language "Tora".This Baseball team won the pennant in this season after eighteen years of absence.For those fans, Trafalgar Square is Tora-falgar Square, and that's why they gathered at this Plaza.-Is this explanation fine in English?Last time this Team won the league title, at Trafalgar Square, some Tora fans dove into the fountain.But now, the fountain is out-of-bounds, so nobody committed such act of folly.Guess why they acted such disgracefully at the last time of Tora's victory?In the Prefecture where there are especially many Tora freaks, when this Team wins, maniacs dive into a canal at a downtown of the Prefectural capital city, and media reports their dangerous behavior with interests.Twenty years and eighteen years ago when this Team won, thousands of mobs dove into the Canal and several died, which was more than they deserved.This year, thanks to strict guard, there was no accidents nor apprehension, but still, dozens of freaks dove into the Canal.How dare they dive into such soiled water?I've never watched baseball games at site, but I've read the Corporation's indignation about fanatic freaks' abusing jeering against opponents.Not all the general public are sports fans; there are haters, and uninterested people -like me. 蝉うるさし ―だったのが… （＊虫の写真あり）
自分の在住在勤地あたりだけかもしれませんが、お盆のちょっと前にふと気が付くと、あれほどシャイシャイシャイシャイ…と耳をつんざくほどやかましかったセミの鳴き声がぱたっと聞こえなくなりました。―と、いっても、同じ地域内でも場所によりけりで、住宅地にしては木が多い他の一画では、その後も蝉が賑やかでした。その場所で、8月下旬のある日、クマゼミの鳴き声ばかりの中で 「みーーーーんみんみんみんみんみ～～～～～……」 …ありゃ？1匹だけミンミンゼミが混ざっているらしい…その場所に元々生息しているのか、どこかから飛んできたのか、子供か誰かがどこか他の場所で捕ってきたのを逃がしたのか…は、定かではなく、想像の域を出ません。本家（山中の農家）だと、ミンミンゼミの方が目立ち、（他に、小さいのに"チィーーーー"と鋭い鳴き声のニイニイゼミも畑で見たことがある）一方、東北の親戚の家周辺では、お盆の時期にもメロディアスなツクツクボーシの声が耳に入ってきたことが記憶に残っています。 ただ、東北も猛暑日が増えているし…今はどうなんでしょう？ 久しく行っていないもので… 蝉の鳴き声の話題となるといつも母から聞かされるのが、ツクツクボーシの鳴き声が聞こえだすと、夏休みも終わりだ～と宿題の残りに焦りを感じていた…という思い出話。子供の頃は、色んな種類の蝉の声が聞こえていた憶えがありますが、いつの間にやらクマゼミばかりになってしまいました。本当は他にもいるのかもしれませんが、私が見分け（というより、聞き分け）が付いていないのか、クマゼミだらけで埋もれているのか…なので、上記のように他の種類の蝉（ミンミンゼミ、ツクツクボーシ、稀にヒグラシ）の音が聞こえると"おっ"と耳が行きます。今年は残暑が長いという長期予報だったので…涼のお裾分けなんぞでも。今夏は自分からどこかに遊びに行くことはなかった代わりに、新型コロナウイルス上陸直後の"ギリギリ滑り込みセーフ"の結婚式以来会っていなかった従妹夫婦が遊びに来て、これまで私達が行くことが多かったのが逆に出迎える側となり、楽しく過ごすことができました。「謎なぞ」28の答え：《1》…88星座（「孔雀座」「望遠鏡座」「コンパス座」は南半球の星座）cf. https://www.study-style.com/seiza/list.html《2》…後ろに「星」が付く言葉になるか「謎なぞ」（カテゴリは「10行エッセイ」）の答えは次の「10行エッセイ」の掲載時にアップいたします。加えてここ数年はほぼきっちり週刊ペースなので、たまたま「10行エッセイ」のカテゴリのブログがずっとない時は数ヶ月後、なんてこともございます。
