新型コロナウイルス自粛で、食料の買い出し以外は、家にこもっていますが、朝食前に、自転車に乗って体を動かしています。
自転車で走っている途中で急に霧が出て視界がなくなったり、富士山がクリアに見えたり、急に向かい風になったりと、毎日の天候の変化を楽しんでいます。雲雀の鳴き声を楽しんだり、鳥と並行して走行したり、シラサギの優雅な姿に見とれたりもしています。
時々、武蔵野線の貨物列車を眺めます。早朝の荒川の鉄橋では、ひっきりなしに貨物列車が通ります。
東浦和付近も、朝の4:58(EF65)、5:00(EH200)、5:21(EF65)、5:33(EF65)、5:59(EF66)、6:11(EH500)、6:20(EF65)、6:44(EF65)と断続的ですが多くの貨物列車が来ます。楽しめます。

In 1967, a train carrying jet fuel to Tachikawa Air Base in western Tokyo exploded while passing through Shinjuku Station. This disaster led to the banning of freight trains on railway lines in central Tokyo and sped the development of the Musashino Line as an alternative route. Because most of the line passed through sparsely populated areas, it was initially envisioned as a freight-only line. However, opposition from local residents led the railway authorities to agree to passenger service as well.
