東京ぶらり散歩その13～丸の内静嘉文庫堂美術館とKITTE Tokyo Stroll #13 – Seikabunko Art Museum in Marunouchi and KITTE

スケジュールが前後するが、「日本橋クルーズ」を楽しんだ日の午前中、丸の内の「静嘉堂文庫美術館」に行った。
静嘉堂文庫は三菱第二代社長岩崎弥之助と小弥太の親子２代が集めた東洋の古美術品を所蔵する美術館。以前は世田谷区の岡本にあったのだが、2022年に丸の内に移転していた。
On the morning of the day I enjoyed the Nihonbashi cruise, I visited the Seikado Bunko Art Museum in Marunouchi.
The Seikado Bunko houses a collection of East Asian antiques gathered by two generations of the Mitsubishi family: Yanosuke and Koyata Iwasaki, the first and second presidents. It was formerly located in Okamoto, Setagaya Ward, but relocated to Marunouchi in 2022.

【紅葉狩り未遂】岡本旧小坂邸＆静嘉堂文庫＆民家園

この日は、以前「なんでも鑑定団」でも取り上げられていた「黒曜天目」の展示があるというので、日本橋に行く前に立ち寄ってみようと思い立った次第。
That day, I decided to stop by before heading to Nihonbashi because the museum was exhibiting the “Black Obsidian Tenmoku” tea bowl, which was previously featured on the TV show “Nandemo Kanteidan” (The Appraisal Board).

我が家からはむしろ千代田線の「二重橋」駅が最寄り駅になる。
The nearest station to my home is actually Nijubashi Station on the Chiyoda Line.

Photography was prohibited for the “Black Obsidian Tenmoku,” but there were many other beautiful exhibits.

他にもいろいろと美しい展示があった。

これなどは、野々村仁斎の作品。
One example is a work by Nonomura Ninsai.

できれば、企画展だけでなく、常設展で所蔵品を展示してほしいところだ。
I hope the museum will also exhibit more of its permanent collection, not only special exhibitions.

この日、決して広いとは言えない美術館内で、やたら混んでいる一角があると思ったら、
Inside the museum, which is not very large, I noticed a particularly crowded area

どうやら「刀剣乱舞」のキャラの刀（兼光）目当てだったようだ。
— it turned out to be fans of the popular game “Touken Ranbu,” who had come to see the sword “Kanemitsu” featured in the exhibit.

静嘉堂文庫美術館を出て、丸の内仲通りを散策。

少し歩くと、日本郵便が手掛ける商業施設「KITTE」に到着する。
A short walk brought us to KITTE, a commercial facility developed by Japan Post.

ここの2 - 3階には日本郵便と東京大学の産学連携プロジェクトである学術文化総合ミュージアム「インターメディアテク」（IMT）があり、東京大学総合研究博物館の学術標本などが展示されている。
On the 2nd and 3rd floors of KITTE, there is the Intermediatheque (IMT), an academic cultural museum established through industry-academia collaboration between Japan Post and the University of Tokyo. It displays academic specimens from the University of Tokyo’s museum.

その展示量たるやまさに圧巻。

入場料金は無料なので、興味がある人はもちろん、あまり興味がない人も一度は訪れてみる価値があると思う。
Admission is free, so I highly recommend it not only to those interested in science and culture, but also to casual visitors.
