Orthocell Ltd ( ASX:OCC , OTC:ORHHF) has delivered its strongest month of US Remplir™ sales since launch, with 92 units sold in October generating A$279,000 in revenue as surgeon adoption and hospital access continued to build.
October sales were 84% above the average monthly volume of 50 units recorded during the first quarter of FY27, providing an early sign that Orthocell's investment in its US commercial infrastructure is translating into higher product utilisation.
The company said the result reflected increasing repeat use by surgeons, a broader base of active distributor representatives and growing access to hospitals across key US markets .
Orthocell chief executive and managing director Paul Anderson said October marked an important milestone in the company's US commercialisation strategy.
"October represents an important milestone in Orthocell's U.S. commercialisation, with the groundwork laid over the past 12 months now translating into tangible revenue.
"The improvement in key commercial indicators demonstrates that Remplir is gaining traction in the US market. While establishing a new medical technology in a large market takes time and sustained effort, our focus remains on accelerating surgeon adoption, expanding hospital access and increasing product utilisation."
US commercial momentum builds
Orthocell has been expanding market access for Remplir as surgeons gain familiarity with the nerve repair product and hospitals progress through Value Assessment Committee approval processes.
The company said October's sales performance demonstrated progress in converting this expanded market access into commercial use.
Orthocell also has regulatory approvals across seven international jurisdictions and established manufacturing capability, providing a platform for further commercial growth.
The company intends to continue expanding surgeon adoption, strengthening its active distributor network and increasing Remplir utilisation across approved markets.
Chairman John Van Der Wielen said Orthocell was continuing to expand manufacturing capacity in anticipation of increased demand and remained confident in Remplir's US market potential.
