1911 Gold Corp (TSX-V:AUMB, OTCQB:AUMBF, FRA:2KY) has reported new high-grade gold intercepts from drilling at the San Antonio West (SAM W) target at its wholly owned True North Gold Project in southeastern Manitoba.
The company reported results from eight surface diamond drill holes totaling 2,980 metres. Highlights included 11.31 grams per tonne gold over 1.70 metres, including 16.20 g/t over 0.80 metres, from hole TN-26-073. Hole TN-26-089 returned 5.72 g/t gold over 3.00 metres, including 9.65 g/t over 1.10 metres, while TN-26-082 intersected 6.79 g/t over 2.40 metres, including 7.98 g/t over 1.40 metres. TN-26-097 returned 11.80 g/t over 0.50 metres.
The drilling confirmed continuity of gold mineralization within a previously drilled gap measuring about 200 metres in elevation and 200 metres along strike, between depths of 230 and 430 metres from surface.
1911 Gold reported that drilling has now confirmed continuous mineralization at SAM W over a strike length of 500 metres and to down-plunge depths of more than 600 metres, with the mineralization remaining open at depth.
The mineralization is hosted in the San Antonio gabbro unit near its intersection with the regional Cartwright South shear zone. The company reported that all seven holes that reached their target depth intersected mineralization within veining in the SAM gabbro.
The latest results extend mineralization identified in earlier drilling, including a previously reported intersection of 24.83 g/t gold over 2.60 metres and another of 58.66 g/t over 1.40 metres.
1911 Gold has now completed 34 drill holes totaling 9,067 metres at SAM W. The company plans to use the results to support a maiden mineral resource estimate for the target.
Geological modelling of the vein systems at SAM W, SAM SE and Shore has begun ahead of maiden resource estimates, while an updated global resource estimate for True North is expected in the fourth quarter of 2026.
Additional underground drilling is also underway at SAM SE, with completion expected by the end of August.
"We are pleased with the continuity of gold mineralization and the extent of the mineralized vein system at SAM W, which we have continued to intersect in our resource definition drilling, along with a number of high-grade gold intercepts," 1911 Gold CEO Shaun Heinrichs said in a statement.
"As we continue to develop these targets, we expect them to have a significant, long-term impact on the production potential at True North."
Shares of 1911 Gold traded 3.7% higher on Tuesday morning.
