The artificial the intelligence industry experiencing explosive growth — one characterized by record investments, widespread business adoption and promising market forecasts.

And NVIDIA, a technology company known for designing and manufacturing graphic processing units, has become a major player in the AI business — a fact its Q3 earnings report backs up.

NVIDIA Corporation reported a record $57 billion in revenue for FY 2026 Q3 earnings.

The results reflect a 62% increase from the same time last year — surpassing Wall Street expectations of $55.4 billion .

The results highlight the company's dominance in the AI hardware market and emphasis the surging demand for chips used to power generative AI and large-scale computing.

The company's data-center segments, which includes sales to cloud providers and enterprises running AI workloads, generated $51.2 billion in revenue — a staggering 66% jump year-over-year.

The company estimates a revenue of $65 billion for Q4 earnings.

"Compute demand keeps accelerating and compounding across training and inference — each growing exponentially," Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of NVIDIA said in a statement .

"We've entered the virtuous cycle of AI. The AI ecosystem is scaling fast — with more new foundation model makers, more AI startups, across more industries, and in more countries. AI is going everywhere, doing everything, all at once."

Despite the stellar numbers, risks remain.

Supply-chain constraints, U.S. export restrictions on shipments to China, and competition from companies like Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) and Intel are potential headwinds.

CFO Colette Kress said during a Nov. 19 earnings call , certain large orders were limited due to export rules, a factor that could affect growth in some international markets.

Investors are also watching whether NVIDIA can sustain the current pace of AI-related spending.

The results come at a time of growing global interest in AI, with enterprises, cloud providers, and startups racing to deploy new AI applications.

NVIDIA's performance signals that demand for high-performance computing and specialized AI chips remains robust, making the company a central player in the ongoing AI boom.

GPUs are processors that handle massive datasets and complex calculations, making them ideal for use with AI.

Tech-giants such as Meta, Tesla, Google and OpenAI all rely on NVIDIA chips to power, train and support their AI infrastructures.
