FOXBOROUGH - Stefon Diggs got on the wrong side of Mike Vrabel with the recent viral video of him partying with bikini-clad women, and offering them a suspicious pink substance.
The two have talked it out, and apparently come to an understanding about making good choices.
Addressing the media for the first time since the incident, Diggs was asked about his relationship with the Patriots coach, and now playing for him.
"You can tell he was a player. Obviously, he wants to take care of you. But he's committed to the grind," Diggs said. "I can tell he was part of championship teams. He knows what it looks like. He knows what the DNA looks like – and he's a grinder. He's not going to take it easy."
Diggs, who has been a limited participant in minicamp as he continues to rehab from ACL surgery, has engaged with Vrabel in some playful banter during practices, saying the Patriots coach "talks a lot of smack."
"I'm a huge fan of him. I can't wait to play for him," said the four-time Pro Bowl receiver. "He's got that itch that you want to run through a wall for him. I look forward to it. Me and him go back and forth in practice and I'm not even participating."
