私は、「知らない英単語はない！」と豪語しています。
豪語していると、不思議なことに、どんな英単語も簡単に覚えてしまうのです。
今日は、私が出会った単語の中から、英米の知識人に一目置かれるような「知的な英単語」を選んで紹介します。
【今日の単語】
７月２７日の英単語は、「pediatrician」。

panderの意味は、（下劣なものに）迎合する、おもねる(to)、
to do or provide exactly what a person or group wants, especially when it is not acceptable, reasonable or approved of, usually in order to get some personal advantage、
という意味です。

As lead singer of the British rock band the Rolling Stones, Jagger became one of rock music's biggest icons in the 1960s and 70s.
