ハロウィン ―に引っかけて
母方の本家で(農家です。既述のとおり)、果樹畑にかぼちゃのワタを捨てておいたら…種から芽が出てきて、夏の間にいつの間にやら畑のあっちこっちに伸びて、立派なかぼちゃが先日6個穫れました。大した生命力です。どこに転がっているか分からず、畑を探し回り…まるで宝探し。 掌サイズのミニカボチャ。くり抜いて丸ごと肉詰めにすると美味です。 ↑ これは旭川・上野ファームでのひとコマですが…最近、八百屋（スーパーマーケットよりも、市場や商店街など）で色んなカボチャを見かけます。ひょうたんみたいなのやラグビーボールのような形のや… まだ買ったことはありませんが。

Childish dignitaries!
Today, please imagine a scene of a fictitious student council meeting at a fictitious school.It's almost impossible to call all the people in this story with pronouns, so I'm calling main people in this story with fictitious names:Today, the main characters are:Kou(boy), Chie(girl), Nao(boy)Sei(girl, appearing again since part 3), Jin(boy), Haru(girl), and Nori(boy)Mr. Ide(Male teacher), Masa(boy), and Fumi(girl).----------Sei has been one of the girls marked persistently by the bully trio in neighboring class Kou, Chie, Nao, and their entourages.Why? ...A few of the reasons seem to be because she is a weak and inconspicuous but brilliant girl at this school, and she is from a family of influence.And this bully trio dominates their class.Her friends Haru and Nori pressed the class leader Jin to do something about Sei.But as is shown on Part 3, while he was weak-kneed to give reconciliation money to extortionist student group, how could he take positive measures?Even so, he began to work out a plan; basically, maybe he thought it would be important to keep Sei from isolation...At the same time, Haru herself secretly met Mr. Ide, a teacher in charge of guidance counselor and an advisory capacity for student council, and told about this problem.That drove Kou's trio frenzy.Don't worry -almost everyone understood that this was just a self-centered spiteful counterattack.But since then, Kou's trio and their entourages demonized their classmates who met Jin's classmates, while a few of both classmates were still friends.Now at last today's main story:An important student council meeting day came.It seemed that this student council didn't have their own meeting space...or there might be circumstances they couldn't use the meeting room...This meeting was held, using the classroom of Jin's class.Nao was a member of the student council, and Kou is a class leader, so they had obligations to take part in.But Kou and Nao suddenly declared that they wouldn't take part in this meeting:Simply because this was held at the classroom of the students who made up the cause teachers and the school bully Kou's trio and their entourages.At this meeting, they were going to decide some important things such as budget and rules for school events, and so on.All the attendees of this meeting were disgusted at their self-centeredness.Anyway, Mr. Ide and the student council leaders Masa and Fumi -they were not students in neither classes- decided to hold the meeting without Kou and Nao.Since this was known throughout the whole school, gradually more and more students who were fed up with their selfishness began to try to keep away from Kou's classmates-except for some considerate and brave friends who wished to do something for bullied students in this class so that they wouldn't be isolated, and a few of Jin's classmates who met Kou's classmates from sheer force of habit ...-----------Me? If I were a member of this fictitious school, I might choose to avoid them because I wouldn't be strong enough to confront the bully trio.If this was a simple story at a school, Kou and Nao would be severely scolded, and Nao might be even ousted from the student council.Above all... if you read the series of story from the beginning, you might wonder how a bully like Nao could be a member of the student council.How would the results of this student council meeting be, after important things were decided without Kou's class?-I have to wait and see the results of its target for comparison.Today, so simple story with so many people, then the intention of this series of stories might be realized.◆ ：Ready to place summery if asked

I don't think so many people remember a CD I placed on "Favorite" just after I started up this weblog: "Utaki" by Misako Odani.(Back then, I didn't know how to place images on this weblog.)One of the songs in this album "Watashiwo kaeshite"(return myself to me) is questioning us which is stronger, money or love.This song starts with: I've witnessed people who take advantage of sick people and squeeze out life they have a little left.More than ten years after this song came to the world...Unfortunately, as I was wondering what to place this month, it turned out that there are people taking advantage of victims and stricken area and squeeze out "budget for reconstruction", and diverting for unrelated uses.As I placed once -maybe last year- what a wretched government! -Excuse me for creche.Just before I decided how to start this composition, a fishery in one of the stricken prefectures bankrupted."Budget for reconstruction" is originally used for a support for such organizations and people, isn't it?-Needless to ask here.Again, I'd like to ask people who read this English weblog to keep your eyes on our move, since this country is still sensitive to external pressure.No matter how people at spot work hard, there is a possibility that their effort could go down the drain due to incompetent politics -then what incompetent politicians and bureaucracy did can be no different from a crime.(September)◇ ：Ready to place translation if asked

本来なら今日が…
10月10日、東京オリンピック開幕記念日として「体育の日」でしたが、ハッピーマンデー政策で今年は10月8日が「体育の日」でしたね。―といっても今日は2020年のオリンピック招致のお話ではなく… （―に関しては2012.8.26を読まれたし）先週末、3連休だった方、楽しめましたか？元町ミュージックウィーク来て下さった皆様、まことにありがとうございました。お越し下さったお友達によると、ちょうど神戸祭りと同じ場所だったとのこと。元町ミュージックウィークは今週末（10月13日・14日）が最終。出演がこれからという方、楽しんでください。 ＋ お天気に恵まれますように。写真撮る余裕なし。すみません。

これです！！昨夜（10/5）、佐藤竹善さんのFriday Musical Voiceでメールを読んでいただけた ＋ 私が2000年代後半にイメージモデルにしていたショーン・コルヴィンの曲が番組終盤で流れました。（2010.5.31参照） → 幸先良さそう ―と思いたいです。ただ、その「Sunny Came Home」と、当ブログのURLの由来でもある竹善さんの「十三夜の月」のつながり（もしくは、共通点）にはこれまで全然気付かなかったのでした。明日は晴れて、秋のお出かけ日和になりますように ―願いを込めて…

Progressive Japanese-English Dictionary)In our language, one of the expressions for this proverb is: it's better to be the head of a chicken than the butt of a bull.This proverb is introduced in a Chinese ancient history book:A large country was trying to attack other six neighboring small countries.A diplomat visited the six small countries and suggested each sovereign that six countries should team up to prevent invasion from the large country.Using this proverb, he explained that even if their countries were small, it would be better to be independent sovereign states than being colonized by a large country.With the lapse of time...The origin country of this historical book complier is now one of the economic powers in the world,But unfortunately, there is a fact -at least reputation that it's doubtful if the economic power and the cultural level is the same -this historian might deplore.It is necessary and no doubt that neighboring countries must find out how to get along well -geographical reason for one thing, since there is no moving the country land -a nonsense story for sci-fi might come up. (I recalled an old sitcom: A duo of private detectives tries to assist a man for a moonlight flit from a loan shark. The only escape is a path in front of the loan shark office. They try various means, but they are hindered again and again. Finally, they drag the client's house in front of the loan shark office.)However, at the same time...This large country is not everything of the continent and area this country and our country belong to.Once I read an opinion by an international political analyst that the friendship between this country and our country and neighboring peninsular countries would be important for the world-But unfortunately, as long as I see the current situation, I'm afraid that it doesn't sound so realistic to me:Even though we wish friendship than conflicts in our heart of hearts in three countries, but in reality, too many ways to go to make our friendship come true.In the meantime... rather than struggling over arrogance of this tyrannical totalitarian country, what if our country try to get along better with various other countries that have suffered from similar problems in the area our country belong to...?
