ぶらり東京散歩その18～江戸東京たてもの園①　Tokyo Stroll 18 – Edo-Tokyo Open Air Architectural Museum (1)

かなり古新聞になってしまったが、ゴールデンウイークを利用して、一度行ってみたいと思っていた「江戸東京たてもの園」に行ってきた。駐車場が混雑していて、なかなか入れなかったのはまだ想定内として、誘導係のオペレーションが悪く、パーキングの順番待ちすらまともにさせてもらえなかったのには閉口した。（公道にはみ出してしまい、通行の邪魔になるからといって、待たせてもらえなかった。）もうひとつ、これも想定内ではあったが、園内は飲食できる施設が少ないので、GWのような混雑日には簡単にランチ難民になってしまう。園内には、靴を脱いで階段を上がる家も少なくなくて、何軒も回っていると、これが結構疲れる。どこかで休憩したくても、気の利いたカフェは園内に１カ所しかない。もう少し、いろいろとオペレーションをなんとかしてほしいよなぁとは思ったが、まあそれでも、いろいろと古い建物を楽しめたのは、古民家好きの私にとっては、得難い経験だった。
Though this report is getting a bit old, I used Golden Week as an opportunity to finally visit the Edo-Tokyo Open Air Architectural Museum, which I had wanted to see for some time.
The parking lot was crowded, which I had expected, but what really frustrated me was the poor operation of the parking attendants—they wouldn’t even let us wait in line properly. They said we couldn’t wait because it would block the public road.
Also, as expected, there are very few places to eat inside the park, so on busy days like Golden Week, it’s easy to become a “lunch refugee.”
Many of the buildings require you to take off your shoes and climb stairs, so visiting multiple houses can be quite tiring.
There’s only one decent café inside the park if you want to take a break.
I hope they improve these operational issues, but even so, being able to enjoy so many historic buildings was a rare and valuable experience for someone like me who loves old houses.

東京都美術館など数々の建築で知られる前川國男邸。

モダンなつくりのリビング。
他の来場者の反応も、おそらくここが一番人気だったかもしれない。

こちらは元総理大臣高橋是清邸。
This is the former residence of Prime Minister Korekiyo Takahashi.

ここがまさに226事件で高橋是清翁が暗殺されたという寝室。
This is the bedroom where Prime Minister Takahashi was assassinated during the February 26 Incident.

こちらの写真スタジオも人気だった。
The photo studio here was also quite popular.

こちらはドイツ人建築家のデ・ラランデ邸。
The residence of German architect Bruno Taut.

The first floor of the house operates as a café.

プライスは結構強気。
Prices here are a bit steep.

西川家別邸。北多摩の製糸会社を設立した実業家西川伊左衛門が隠居所及び接客用に建てた邸宅。
he Nishikawa family villa, built by businessman Isamon Nishikawa, who founded a silk-reeling company in northern Tama, as a retirement and reception residence.

ちなみにこの日はスマホではなく、久しぶりにミラーレス一眼（Canon EOS R8)を持参した。
By the way, this time I brought my mirrorless camera (Canon EOS R8) instead of my smartphone after a long while.
