すもももももももものうち
頂き物ですが。 (写真)果物といえばビタミン、ビタミンといえば風邪はどうなったかですって？風邪の諸症状は5月下旬には治ったものの、気管支炎のしつこい咳が治っては再発、を繰り返していました。結果として、6月24日のスクールライブに出られるよう、一念発起して6月後半に半ば気合で直してしまいました。―というより、元をたどると、4月最終週にすごくショックなことがあったのが引き金となって風邪を引いたと思われることから、結局はそうするしかなさそうだったのです。2003年にうつ病になって以来、ストレスで抵抗力が落ちて風邪を引いたことは何度かありました。24日のライブですか？バンドで出るより一人で出るほうが緊張しなかったのはなぜでしょう。

At last!
I could get over the bronchitis.It took more than 2 months since I caught a cold first at the end of April.The cold itself got well by the end of May.But the bronchitis kept coming back again and again.As a result, I got rid of the cold and bronchitis by willpower so that I could attend the concert on Jun. 24 -this was the method I didn't share on Jun. 18.Since there was a great shock and I caught a cold from the lowered resistance, I would have to get rid of it by willpower after all.However-Yesterday, I happened to read a fitness magazine.Then I wondered if I had had mycoplasma pneumonia, not bronchitis -the symptoms I read on it were similar to my disease.I'm not going to worry about it now, but I'll ask the doctor.◆ :Ready to place translation depending on request

一事が万事―
豚肉混入の「牛肉コロッケ」発覚に始まった牛ひき肉偽装事件はその後、次々発覚する不正は今更枚挙に暇がありません。今朝のニュースで、別の販売会社のパッケージが偽造されていたと聞いたときは、むしろ"一事が万事"という気持ちのほうが先立ちました。今までのところ一番驚いたのは"安いものばかり求める消費者にも問題がある"の発言。生肉ならともかくコロッケなど加工品になってしまったら、見た目で分からず、他の原材料・調味料と一緒になっては味もまず分かりません。―だから不正工作が成立してしまったのでしょうが。気の毒なのは休業のため全員解雇を言い渡された従業員―"一方的だ"と言う声が上がったとラジオのニュースで聞きましたが、当然の反応です―社長の指示での不正に加担させられた上に仕事を奪われるとなっては。ラジオの英語番組で"やましいところがなければよく眠れる"という意味の言い回しが出ていたのを聞きましたが、今回に限らず今問題になっているトップの方々にお知らせしたいです―There's no pillow as soft as a clear conscience.

Golfer Chikuzen

オレンジ
風邪のときはビタミンCを摂るのが大事、ということで、オレンジを買ってきました。私のこれまでの経験では、写真右のように、へたの対面側に窪みがあるオレンジのほうが、皮が剥きやすいようです。渡英中(YWCAに滞在)、ビタミン源にオレンジを毎朝食べているうちに気付きました。

強行突破
土曜日、気管支炎が完治していない中、新曲の録音を強行。1週間前にやろうとしたものの高い声が全然通らず諦めて、その日に回しました。かなりスピーディーなロックナンバーですが、案外こういう曲のほうが、勢いで歌い切ってしまえます―後で疲れましたが。―その曲ですか？作詞は「Trajectory」収録の「声に出すと溢れてしまう最後の言葉」と同じ水谷小鳥先生。同じく「Trajectory」収録の「真世界」 (書下ろし)と同様、こちらもベースラインでちょっと遊んでいます。ただ今回は詞先(今のところ、私以外が作詞の曲は全て詞先）なので、狙って意識した曲などはなく、詞がメロディーとアレンジを引き出してくれました。

For complete recovery
I caught a bad cold at the end of April.It caused bronchitis.And I've been unable to get out of it for a long time.Other symptoms of cold -sneezing, slight fever have gotten well by the end of May.But it was cold at the beginning of June, then the bronchitis came back.I' ve been coughing for more than one month.But I've decided to get rid of it in this week -or I have to.The methods are simple:・Wear a flu mask when I go out・Get enough sleep, vitamin C and water・Avoid too high air-conditioning and keep myself warm・Take medicine as instructedThere is one more thing, but I'll decide whether I share or not after I see if it works.◆ :Ready to place translation depending on request

たずね人 再び
以前載せていますが再び。2001年夏に音楽留学で渡英しました。諸事情あって長期は断念、ボーカル専攻で短期にしましたが、私が行っていた当時、ベース専攻のクラスに日本人の男性が一人いました―おそらく私と同じ位の歳だったと思われます。特にトラブル続きだった7月には、長期フルタイムコースで先に来ていた彼には何かと助けてもらえ、心強かったです。しかし、彼は2002年に一旦帰国後再度渡英したらしいと元クラスメートから聞いたのが2003年春、その後の足取りは分かりません。ベーシストで青木智仁さんを知らない人はそうはいまい―だとしたら彼も青木さんが亡くなったことにはショックを受けたに違いない―と、ふと思い当たりました。

Time Tunnel/ Toshiki Kadomatsu
Since Kadomatsu made his debut in 1981, he has always been a popular singer.But in 1993, he suddenly stopped his work as a singer; he expresses it as 'freezing'He was distressed by the gap between the reality of music business and what he really wanted to do as a musician.After that, he was working as a producer.However, when the January 1995 quake occurred, He visited Kobe, and realized that there are people who are saved by his song- that was one of the backgrounds he decided to resume his performance.In 1998, he resumed his work as a singer; he expresses it as 'thawing'.The theme of the album is 'time'."One second is short, but when I close my eyes, it's longer than forever" (Tokei [clock])"I'm not calling you tonight, so find time for yourself"(Nanimonai yoru [night without anything special]) ...The album starts with an instrumental tune 'Time Tunnel'.It's followed by a funky song 'Lunafairymiena'.'Kazeno ayagu' (in the wind variegated in color) is written and performed with Satoru Shimoji, a singer from Miyakojima Island. -That might have been a covert reference for 'Incarnatio' in 2002.'Houkaino zenjitsu' (the day before the collapse) is dedicated to the people who perished in the earthquake in 1995.At the concert, he said that the real theme was death.Some people might wonder why I didn't place this album of Kadomatsu first although this was the first album released after 'thawing'.Of course, "The gentle sex" (See Feb. 15, 2007) was the easiest to introduce. -But not only that.It was just one year ago-When I heard the news that Tomohito Aoki, the bassist who had always worked together with Kadomatsu, departed from his life with acute heart failure on his 49th birthday, the first thing I thought was:"Then, I could have members' autographs at the concert of Four of a Kind, and it turned out to be a keepsake from him as a result..." -I was rather calm -or paralyzed.But a few days later, when I was listening to 'Realize' in this album-"Sometimes I suddenly become unable to see someone whom I think I can see anytime..."I was struck by a sudden shock.Since then, I put it under seal for more than half year.(Translation: Unable-to-think-up-Handle)January 21, 1999 BMG Japan BVCR-11005

6月9日のライブパーティー
お休みサイクル中にご質問をいただいたのでシェアさせていただきます。私を含めて7人登場、数曲ずつ思い思いの曲を演奏したり歌ったり、わいわい楽しんでおりました。どんな曲が登場したかといいますと―・3分後に捨ててもいい(中島みゆき）・The Rose・I Love You(尾崎豊)・Take Five・ジプシーキングスの曲で鬼平犯科帳のテーマソング・Superstition(スティーヴィー･ワンダー)・Spain(チック･コリア) ・大阪で生まれた女他多種多様(順不同)さて私は、ポルトガル語曲2曲に日本語曲1曲という編成。6月24日の予行練習を兼ねて「Blue Bossa」。「SAMURAI」 （ジャヴァンfeat.スティーヴィー･ワンダー）は昨年秋にこのライブバーでのパーティーに誘ってくださった仲間に演奏に入っていただいてお送りしました。ありがとうございました。そして前後の日付から気付かれた方もいらっしゃるでしょうが、浅野祥之さんの四十九日の6月7日と、青木智仁さんの命日の12日の中間だったこの日―誠に勝手ながらSING LIKE TALKING「Hold On」はお二人に贈る曲とさせていただきました。 (5月2日参照)ところで―"J&B"というウイスキーがあるのをその日初めて知りました。

FOUR of a KIND II/ FOUR of a KIND
Two years after the 1st album of FOAK (See Feb. 5, 2007)-Compared to the 1st, the sound has become mellower, and the songs are more melodious.The energy of four members were grappling together on their 1st album.And with more time and experience, their energy and sound have merged and ripened.Basically, their music is contemporary jazz.At the same time, 'Get Up 'N' Go' is funk and 'Keep the Faith' is more like rock music.A covered number is included in this album, too: Summer Soft (Stevie Wonder)This is arranged by SALT (See Apr. 23, 2007) as well as 'What's Going On' in their 1st album.Before FOAK, each of them performed together at various scenes.It was Aoki (See Dec. 7, 2006) who thought up this project. Gift/ J to B
J&B is a guitar duo of Jun Kajiwara (left) and Yoshiyuki 'Butcher' Asano (right- See Apr. 23, 2007).When they are with a band, the duo is called "J&B".And when only two of them with acoustic guitars, "J to B".Songs with only two acoustic guitars sound unaffected, and we can enjoy beautiful sound performed with two guitars.On the other hand, the most surprising song for me was 'Hush' -Original is Deep Purple; simple and speedy sound filled with energy.Reportedly, a popular guitar duo DEPAPEPE formed a duo of two acoustic guitars because they were attracted by J to B.'Long Train Running' is recorded with DEPAPEPE.'RISA' -The closing number.The original is a famous song of Tomohito Aoki who passed away on Jun. 12, 2006- on his 49th birthday. (See Dec. 7, 2006)From a kind of idea, I tried to copy this song with the piano.Then from a strange logical leap, a fact occured to me; the composer of this song departed from his life, but the song is given life when it's actually played.At that time, the first thing I recalled was this song is covered by J to B in this album.-But who ever knew that Yoshiyuki Asano on J to B would pass away at that point?November 22, 2006, Victor Entertainment, VICJ-61395

週明けに書いたとおり、堺東周辺某所のライブバーに歌いに行きます。あの後、よく歌いに来る仲間にOKをいただきました。3/25以来しばらくぶりです。たまたま6月第2土曜日の本日、何をするつもりかは―本番で。もちろん考えてあります。

佐藤竹善単独行脚「Welcome to my room Vol.2」
（6月4日 at大阪フェスティバルホール）ステージ上のテレビで前回の単独行脚のDVDを流している―竹善、登場するなりリモコンでテレビをプチッ。(即興演奏)→「Welcome to My Room」 (書下ろし) 「あなたの心に｣5月4日のCYF以来ちょうど1ヶ月ぶりにフェスに戻ってきた竹善。"単独はゆる～い感じです。よろしいでしょうか。自由な感じで過ごしてください""今日はフェスのオーナーに｢好きなだけやっていい｣と言われたので、曲は増えないけれど話は増える"→｢カオ上げて」｢花笑み」「Spirit of Love」「カオ上げて｣はPLUS ONEとして10年ぶりの曲。"もしまた10年後にPLUS ONEをやったら小田和正は70歳"「花笑み」は古今和歌集に出てくる言葉らしい。ビートルズ×クラシック"ここでビリージョエルのカバーを―「Honesty」？「New York State Of Mind」？違う―というか無理"→「You're My Home」(アルバム「ピアノ･マン｣より―以前インストアライブでもやっていた覚えが)「Right Here Waiting」"ここから話が長いのでトイレに行きたい方はどうぞ"最新アルバム「Indigo」は6月20日リリースだが、メンバーのスケジュールの都合でツアーは来年春からとなる。去年は自宅のスタジオで曲作りに励んでいた。ニッカモルトウイスキーのCMソングにとスポンサーにリクエストされた「Amazing Grace」の話。色々な人が歌っている曲だが、これまで竹善が一番いいと思ったのは白鳥恵美子のバージョン。彼ならではのスタイルを、というわけで一人多重録音にしたが、今までこれは避けていた。でも、あらゆる音楽の要素を詰め込んで、有坂美香のアレンジで作った。→コーラスのトラックに合わせて「Amazing Grace」"有坂のパートのコーラスを録っている時が一番切なかった"「休日を追いかける｣というテレビ番組に出たときの話。中学時代聞きまくったビートルズ、とりわけジョン･レノンの足跡を追って軽井沢へ。ホテルでジョンが滞在した部屋(部屋番号は企業秘密)に泊まったという。当時から働いていたバーテンダーも、近所のパン屋の人も「普通の人だった｣という「人間ジョン･レノン」―会った人全て、ジョン･レノンの話をすると穏やかな表情に。"本当にすごい人というのは普段オーラが出ていない"―スティーヴィー･ワンダーに会った時も"あまりにも普通だったのでむしろ嬉しかった"→"盲腸で入院中にヒットしたジョン･レノンの曲を"→「Woman」2年前に「The Pillows」のトリビュートアルバムに参加。Pillowsから指名を受けた。"音楽的に自由な空気を聴いてもらえたのが嬉しかった"エレキギターを手にした竹善"このままやると（この1曲だけ）浮くので"とスタンディングオベーションの練習→「カーニバル｣その勢いで「Wind of Change」"予定調和もここまでやるとこんなに楽しいもんだ"高校時代の先輩が隠れオフコースファンだった話。"昔はよく分からなくても、ある時急にその良さに気付く曲" →｢私の願い｣「Friend｣｢離れずに暖めて」"ボーカリストは結局皆オタク"という話からモノマネの話題になり、山下達郎・えなりかずきのモノマネに続いて秋川雅史「千の風になって」を1フレーズだけ披露→クラシックの影響を受けた曲「The Light Is You」(アンコール)6月20日に3rdアルバム「Indigo」をリリース。前回のツアーでのバンドの空気を引き継いだ。しかし4月20日に、5曲参加した浅野祥之が他界―浅野のギターは骨太でブルージー、なおかつシャープでクリア、その両面が一つの音に出てくる人はそうはおらず、アメリカでも大絶賛だったという。→岡野宏典登場。2人が共作した「届いたらいいな～Gratitude～」今回の単独行脚の間4度共演した岡野はSING LIKE TALKINGと同じC.I.Aに入ることになった。岡野の曲「レモネード」(岡野×竹善）時計を見ると9時55分。"初日の新潟が終わったのは9:15、しかも1曲も増えていない"「ビューティー７」のサントラより「The Flame in My Soul」こういう曲を書けたのは本当に嬉しいと竹善自身語ったように、自然にスタンディングオベーションで幕を閉じた。"昔はよく分からなくても、ある時急にその良さに気付く曲"―私にもあります。竹善さんのラジオで度々聞いていながら2001年の渡英中に初めて好きになったスティーヴィー･ワンダーもそうだし、最近では目下練習中のSLT「Hold On」。5/2にちらっと書きましたが、歌う段になって、深い悲しみに沈んでいる人の力になろうとしている詞かと思い当たりました―これを4月19日にコピーを思い立ったのも不思議ですが。竹善さんもご自身のブログで"あと、何回(フェスで)できるかな。"と語っておりました。かけがえのない一夜となった素晴らしいライブでした。

三度目の正直
載せるのが大分遅れましたが、今度は成功。前回えんどうご飯を炊いた時は、ご飯が炊けてから豆と一緒に塩を入れてしまい、これでは塩加減が薄すぎになるわけです―調味料はご飯を炊くときに入れるのでしたね。薄味好みの私にとっては、米2合につき塩小さじ半分がちょうどいいようです。

On Jun. 6- New single "HEY!/ Gratitude"This day is the final day of "Welcome to my room" tour at Okinawa; Chikuzen accompanies himself alone on whole stage.'Gratitude' was written with Hironori Okano.Although Okano hasn't made his debut formally yet, Chikuzen praises his talent and musical sense.On Jun. 4, at Festival Hall in Osaka, Chikuzen and Okano performed this song together.And Okano's 'lemonade'.Okano performed with Chikuzen four times during this tour.On Jun. 20- New album "Indigo" and DVD "FIVE BIT STORY III"According to Chikuzen, the title "Indigo" is derived from a proverb meaning "A disciple sometimes outshines his master".Due to the schedule of other musicians, Chikuzen's next tour with a band is going to start in next spring.It's not release, but on Jun. 10 and 17, songs performed at Cross Your Fingers Vol.11 on May 4 are on air on Midnight Fingers II, Chikuzen's regular radio program on FM802.

Next new plan
I decided to visit a live bar somewhere around Sakai-Higashi again since the end of March.I asked if I could visit my friend for a live party on Jun. 10, the second Sunday in June.But he told me that the live party is on the second Saturday, not Sunday, from June- so not 10th, but 9th, June.Besides, I had to make reservation to perform there; it's not free-for-all.Anyway, I asked him if they let me perform on Jun. 9: The data does not matter.The theme of this stage? 解説
竹善さんのブログ見たさに始めた当ブログもおかげさまで5/31で開設1周年です。へなちょこブログなりにどうにかこうにか続けています。ブログ開設1周年を前に掲載した「好きな曲バトン」(アイウエオ順) (5月30日)をご覧になって、"なんでSLT・竹善さんの曲が１曲ずつしかないの！"と思われた方がいらっしゃるかもしれません。これは国内限定で全部違うアーティストの曲にしたのがポイントです。ただ困ったのが、な行・ま行・ら行で始まる曲名を案外知らなかったこと。まずその曲名から入れたら、今度は同じアーティストが重複。特にか行・さ行・は行を入れ替え入れ替えし、このラインナップになったのでした。なお、文字の色が違うのは、この1年間に一度は登場させたであろう（はずの）曲もしくは人です。これにて英語にバトンタッチ。Thank you very much for reading.One year since I set up my weblog.I set up this weblog so that I could post messages to Chikuzen's weblog -but not only that.There was a kind of big change in my life, and I set up this weblog so that I could share the passage to my dream.Best regards.
