Sometimes I’m asked, “How long do you write a diary par a day?”So I note how to write this diary.I make a draft by “Word”, word processing software. It is able to run spell check. I make it a rule to write about 4 lines in English and attach Japanese for 30 minutes. After that, I edit it online for 15 minutes. Something to write clearly makes a series of work quickly.

Have you appreciated works of Yo Shomei?I like his paintings. We can see a characteristic in his composition. There are sky and earth, and something exists in the middle. I felt somewhat loneliness and warmthin his drawings. In “YO SHOMEI ART MUSEUM”, his collection of pictures, he says, “I draw sky and earth firstly. Then, I grope for what exists in the middle for a long time.” I felt a sense of unity between painter and works.

My grand parents live at the house next door. They have a dog called “Taka”. He is a handsome dog, but he has bad nature. He behaves like a king in our family. During taking hime a walk, I found a new fact. He hates a car. As a car approached form behind, he bared his teeth and growled at the car.It is hopeless for him to win a car. He may be afraid of a car.

I had a terrifying dream. In my dream, I got home. But my family did not stay there. I ran into thieves at the second floor. I said to them, “I’ll report to a police!” Then, thieves resorted to threatening me. They stuck a knife into me. I ran away from my house with pajamas on. It was so realistic. I hope it won’t be a prophetic dream.

In the hospital, I was put on a drip. Although I got home, I couldn’t eat anything. I threw up again and again. So I couldn’t take even medicine. I was absent from my school. I was half asleep all day long. I have only vague memory of yesterday. I caught an awful cold.Excuse me for my dirty story.

Though I regarded my feeling sick as a hangover, but it was turned out to be gastroenteritis. After lunch, I felt so bad and threw up. Only walking and talking likely to make me threw up. What’s more, I felt cold and had a fever. When I went to a hospital and tell a doctor, “Yesterday I drunk a lot, to tell the truth.” But he said, “If you were hangover, you won’t have a fever.” By the way, I forgot a pain of gastroenteritis for a long time.

Sometimes I need to investigate over drinks. So I must not let liquor get the upper hand. And I try to get used to drink in a secure place in general. But I drunk too much yesterday to let myself get carried away. I had felt so bad during on a train. Too much is as bad as too little. Well, it was good to know my limit of alcohol.

People can hold Shinto-style wedding or Christian-style wedding in our marriage-hall.After a ceremony, we meet a bride and groom to a hall of wedding reception. When I worked at the fifth floor, I went to meet them to the first floor running down the stairs. However, I couldn’t find my colleague, far from the bride and groom. To tell the truth, I didn’t know Shinto-style wedding was to be held at the sixth floor, and Christian-style wedding was to be held at the one floor. I ended up running up the stairs from the first stairs to the sixth stairs again.

When I worked as a part time job, I took a mistake and got scolded by A. After that, B came to me and said, “Don’t worry about what she said. Now she manages to learn new job, too.” I was glad to hear that. For, I felt B’s consideration. And I know A is a kind person, too. A has taken care of me for the first time, teaching how to work, straightening my tie.I’m happy there is no person who is ill-natured in my place of work.

For the job in a marriage-hall, we have to remain standing from beginning to end. We are too busy to sit to eat lunch. All the more, wedding reception is not always done once in a hall par day. When it is done twice or three times in the same hall, we forced to keep working for a long time. I’ve worked for two receptions. I remained standing for 11hours. As I got home and took of my shoes, my nails bleed internally. Is it honorable wounds?!

I’ve done practice teaching in my old school. The other day, I received a letter from a student in my class. He says, “Do you remember all of us?” Of course, I’ll never forget my class. Each student took care of me. They invited me a lunch, advised how to teach, praised and encouraged me. And I recalled a student teacher when I was a student. I wonder what she does now. I’d like to write a letter.

I use a compact camera usually. The camera has a function of remote control. It’s useful to take a commemorative picture in particular. But sometimes I’m in trouble with the place of camera. So I bought a tripod. It is very small with about 14cm long and about 60g weight. I can bring it in my pocket. I’m looking forward to use it.

I read someone’s autobiography. I felt somehow unpleasantness. For, the author seems to be proud of half her life, “Look my effort! I ‘m different from others.”By the way, I think I need to reflect on myself. Am I impossible fellow to write these diaries? Do I show off my little effort? I have to be engraved in my mind.

My father has a hollow leg. After he gave up smoking, he eats more and more. When another member of my family has enough, he says, “I’m not satisfied.” My mother is glad about his quitting smoking, but she is forced to keeps an eye on his overeating. Last night, after dinner, he said, “Why don’t you eat anything? I want to eat pokotan!” He mistook dekopon, a kind of orange as what he said “pokotan”. After an instant silence, we laughed our head off, except for my father.

According to the newspaper, the teacher started to take a picture from newly-appointed days. Children’s expressions have had him to take pictures for 27years. He says, “Any child who is absentminded in a classroom certainly shows superb expression somewhere.” I think so, too. A face of child, smiles, tears, and so on is too vigorous to stop pointing my camera at.

From now on, I try enjoying my hobby in order to be full of life. As I state in my profile, my hobby is taking a picture. I have a camera in my bag wherever I go.And I like to appreciate pictures taken by others. I knew an exhibition of pictures taken by schoolteacher by a newspaper. I had so many things to do that I didn’t have a time to visit an exhibition formerly. But I’d like to manage to go.

I’m interested in culture and folk customs. So I have read some books, and have talked out with my company. The more I study, the more I know my narrow outlook. So I have a dream to communicate with a lot of people, for example, by talking, reading, and writing. I chose English as a means of my dream. That’s a reason why I study English.

I got up so late that I couldn’t study English at all. I study in early morning. So oversleeping means no study for me. It is my first time to neglect to update my diary since I started this home page. I’m somehow in low spirits at the day I couldn’t control my hours of sleep. Although I may live thanks to such revolution by body against my mind, once in a while.

Indeed it is said that you have to work quickly and correctly. But strictly speaking, I think this saying tend to be divided. I mean, “more quickly than correctly” or “more correctly than quickly”. In my point of view, a greater part of work in a marriage-hall needs the former. For, I heard a crash every 15minits. We behave correctly only in front of our guests.

Someone often says to me, “I don’t know your feelings very much; I don’t understand what do you think.” Certainly I have an idea why they point out.I may not talk about myself to my company except for to my closely friends. I’d like to be friendly terms with them, but I’m at a loss how to express my self among groups in particular.I envy of the person who can communicate one’s ideas clearly.

I exchange a letter with my grandfather by a PC. This is his training for entering information by means of the keyboard. It’s not an E-Mail. After I write a letter on a desk top of a PC, he reads and answers it. In a today’s letter, he wrote,“Congratulations on your entering a school. I manage to live with my wife until your graduation.” He always said, “I will die soon.” at one time. Now, he is full of life. Writing may be his reason for living. I think one can change at any time.

What do you image from “Tarzan”? I saw “TARZAN” made by Disney production. If you recall only a wild boy crying like “A~a ah~”, this animation will be contrary to your expectation in a good sense. I’m moved by the first half of the film in particular. Very young Tarzan, who was bought up in a group of gorilla is worried about his identity. For, his figure is too different from others. A song by Phil Collins encourages him. This scene somehow moved me to tears.

I worked in a marriage-hall for the first time. There are about 10 rooms for wedding reception in the hall. Each room has a team of service staff. A captain unities the team. I took part in one of teams. They have to move about briskly. When someone is slow, he or she got scolded by the captain. First, I was afraid of the captain, but I noticed they work feeling attachment each other. Fellowship makes their work smooth.

I teach my grandfather how to use a personal computer from March. Until I taught, he never had touched personal computer. And he watched TV all day long except for taking a dog for a walk. But he works hard to learn everyday. His skill has improved remarkably. He can write a letter by keyboards now. I became aware of an importance of curiosity once more.

I start working as a part time job in a certain marriage-hall. I took part in a service training there today. I learned movements such as a bow and walking, how to pour a glass, and so on. We need to stick closely to the rules. The person who took charge of training said, “If you broke a car, you can pay for damage. But, mark my words, if you make a mistake in a marriage ceremony, you can never undo it. This is the point of our work.” I was satisfied with his comment.

I’m interested in work of Hayao Miyazaki. He is an animation director who belongs to studio GHIBLI. By the way do you know the meaning of “GHIBLI”? I read “The world of Hayao Miyazaki” written by Kiridoshi Risaku, a critic of culture. From what I read, “GHIBLI” is derived from Italian. And it means a hot wind from desert in Africa through the Mediterranean Sea. I think it’s very cool. Don’t you think so? I’d like to do such a naming.

Have you ever read the story, “Hare tokidoki buta”? In the story, a hero gets himself into a terrible trouble by writing tomorrow’s diary. By the way, I write yesterday’s diary. I have tried to keep early hours. My aim is to get up at 3:00 and to go to bed at 21:00 ( Although this aim is too high to keep everyday). I study at morning. I write a daily of the day before at early morning. So Excuse me when I regard a yesterday’s occurrence as a today’s one.

As I’m lack of money, I’m careful not to waste. However, there are a lot of necessary things in my life. For instance, books. So I carry out a ordinary way of reading books free of charge. I get the best out of a local libraly. In my city, people can apply for a book that does not exsist in the libraly. If the book is newly published, the liblary buys it. The applicant is entitled to be the first reader of the book after arrival. By the way, I borrow 10 books from the libraly now. And 10 of 7 books are new books, for I’m a applocant of that.
