"New research from the University of Maryland School of Medicine suggests that laughter is good for your heart. Stress, on the other hand, is bad for you. The researchers monitored people watching both funny and stressful movies. The people who laughed increased their blood flow by 22 percent. This resulted from expanded blood vessels. The people who saw a war movie had constricted blood vessels and a 35-percent decrease in blood flow. Increased blood flow is good for your cardiovascular system. Good blood flow and a healthy cardiovascular system can help prevent heart disease. The researchers say that it's important to exercise, but laughter can be good for your heart too!
I read this article this morning. Did I laugh yesterday? oh...I laughted while doing some exercise with an instructor. At aerobics class we are very serious as exercise is difficult. So our instructor sometimes says joking in Osaka dialect."ちょっと。。そこの。。兄ちゃん。。もっと。。腕上げんな。。あかんで。。!!!” We laughed a lot hearing her words. "あああ。。もう。。。ばらばら。。やん。。。” We can't do exercise well as we are laughing. haha!!!!!
