Guardian Angel S.C Curchorem defeated Sao Jose de Areal via tia breaker 5-3 in the All Goa Inter-Village Late Joao Francisco Pacheco Memorial Football Tournament. In the finals played at Betalbatim Sports Complex Ground today, the players braved the wet and  slippery  conditions on the ground and defended to remain goalless till full time. There were some  anxious  moments that had the crowd cheer getting the pace of the game in high gear. 

 The Chief Guest Fr. Lucio Dias ( Parish Priest , St. John the Baptist Church, Benaulim & Dean of Benaulim Deanery ) appreciated the effort of both the teams in his address during half time.

Mr. Mickky Pacheco ( MLA Nuvem  Constituency )   distributed football kits to teams from Nuvem Constituency. The tournament was  sponsored by Mr. Mickky Pacheco . There was a brass band in attendance that kept the festive mood of the crowd high before the start and during the breaks.

All Goa Late Joao Francisco Pacheco Inter-Village Football Tournament 2016 is being organised by Betalbatim Sporting Club at Betalbatim Football ground. This tournament is sponsored by Mickky Pacheco ( Hon. M.L.A. - Nuvem Constituency ). The semi-finals will be played on 12 Aug 2016 and 13 Aug 2016 at 4.30 pm. The Final clash will be on 28 Aug 2016 at 4.30 pm.

Betalbatim Sporting Club defeated Rosman Cruz Sporting Club, Nagoa by  a solitary goal to lift the Chinchinim Villagers Cup. In the final played on Our Lady of Hope Church Ground, Chinchinim; the All Goa 8-a-side inter village football tournament came to an end. the winning goal was scored by Frazer Rogtao. Manushawn Fernandes was judged as best defender and Austin Fernandes as the best attacker.

St. Anthony's Sports Club, Assolda defeated Betalbatim Sporting Club, Betalbatim 2-0 in the final of 3rd All Goa Martins Club Inter Village Soccer Tournament.  Chief Guest, Mr. Keith Vaz ( Hon. M.P - Leicester, UK) gave the winners trophy in the presence of Guest of Honour, Mr. Elvis Gomes, GFA President , Mr. Micky Pacheco, M.L.A - Nuvem Constituency . Special Invitees , Fr. Pascoal Afonso, Parish Priest - Our Lady of Remedios Church , Betalbatim , Fr. Milagres Fernandes,- Asst . Parish Priest - Our Lady of Remedios Church , Betalbatim.

 Rev. Fr. Pascoal Afonso lead the prayer service and latter blessed the Club Office. In his address Fr. Pascoal Afonso congratulated the members of the  Betalbatim Sporting Club and wished them all the success in years to come. 

It is proud moment for Betalbatim Sporting Club as they inaugurate their Club House tomorrow 8th September 2015. The Club House will be  blessed by Rev. Fr. Pascoal Afonso ( Parish Priest , Our Lady of Remedois Church, Betalbatim ) at 7.00 p.m.

Catch Them Young  And  Watch Them Grow said Fr. Ubaldo D'Cunha addressing a  jubilant sunday crowd as they saw Betalbatim Sporting Club, Betalbatim battle it out with Loyola High School , Margao  in the finals of Bresources Cup 2012 under-14 tournament at SAG grounds . 

The crowd cheered as they saw to their hearts content the young budding future players play their hearts out with breath taking passes as they forged ahead in each others territories . Mr. Clifford Miranda , son of the soil who has made a name for himself in National Football team spoke about dedication to the sport and advised parents to lend support to the youth who wish to develop their skill in the sport. 

Betalbatim Sporting Club take on Wilred Leisure, Curtorim in finals today at Late Joao Francisco Pacheco Memorial football tournament to be played on Betalbatim Ground at 4.30 p.m. The Tournament is sponsored by Pacheco and family.

Shri. Manohar Parrikar ( Hon. Chief Minister of Goa ) has consented to be the the Chief Guest , Shri Francis D'Souza ( Hon. Urban Dev. & Revenue Minister ) the  Guest of Honour, Shri. Francisco Xavier Pacheco ( Ex-Min. for Tourism & MLA - Nuvem Constituency ) will preside.

There will be felicitation of Ex-players, members of Betalbatim Sporting Club Mr. Domingos Fernandes , Mr. Madhu Lotlikar and promising youth of Betalbatim in U-14 master Kinglee Fernandes

Betalbatim Sporting Club dribbled Varca Sports Club 4-0 to zoom into the quarter-finals of All Goa Chinchinim Villagers Trophy inter-village footbal tournment, organised by union of Chinchinim Villagers,at Chinchinim church ground on 4th july 2012. Desmond Fernandes smashed a free kick to go one up as the defenders watched in helplessness . The first half saw complete dominance by Betalbatim  Sporting Club as Desmond scored his second goal before half -time. It  was Denzil Rogtao who had his share of glory when he scored two more to seal the game and snatch victory from Varca Sports Club.
