Did you see the public apology of Mr.Nagata?What do you think about his apology?I don't think that was not enough. He made apology like a school boy.Like "Forgive me because I apologized."What was more,he still said that the e-mail might contained some facts.
Can't believe it.
永田氏の謝罪会見ご覧になりましたか？
どう思われました？
私は充分に思えませんでした。
何だか小学生の謝罪みたい。
「許してよ、謝ったでしょ」って。
それにまだメールが真実を含んでるかも知れないといってる。
信じられません。

Nagata explained that he had heard about the e-mail for the first time on Feb. 1 and obtained a copy of it on Feb. 6. Sometime around Feb. 8, Nagata notified top DPJ politician Yoshihiko Noda about the e-mail. He then reported the issue to DPJ leader Seiji Maehara on Feb. 11. Nagata admitted that he had not met with the source of the e-mail in person .
永田氏は最初このメールについて2月1日に聞き、2月6日にコピーを手に入れた。8日頃、永田氏はメールで民主党野田佳彦国対委員長に知らせた。その後、この問題について11日に前原誠司代表に報告している。永田氏はメールの情報源と直接会っていなかったことを認めた。

Nagata also filed an apology to Takebe and his second son.
永田氏はまた、武部幹事長とその息子に正式に謝罪した。

"I am really sorry for citing their names without carrying out sufficient investigations," he said.
「十分な調査を行わず、氏名を挙げたこと

But Nagata also said that he had not yet confirmed whether what was described in the e-mail was totally false or not.
しかし永田氏はさらに、このメールに記載されいることが全くの偽りかどうかまだ確かめられてないと発言した。

"I still have to investigate if the e-mail was totally groundless or contained some facts," he said. (Mainichi)
