My son became sick this evening. I guess he ~~got~~ caught a cold. After coming home from his grandparents' place, he looked very tired. I got him to brush his teeth and change his clothes into his pajamas, and then I ~~let~~ had him lie down on the bed. He fell asleep at once and his father was with him, so I left him in order to do the chores. However, about thirty minutes later, my husband came to me and said that he had vomited. * I wasn't upset about it because it was within my expectation. I asked him if he was feeling better. He answered, "Yes. some." So I thought he didn't have a serious problem. I told him to wash his hands and face and gargle. I helped him change his dirty pajamas. He went back to bed and he is sleeping now. I hope he will get better tomorrow.

夜になって息子の具合が悪くなりました。たぶん風邪だと思います。祖父母の家から帰ってきた後、すごくしんどそうにしていまして。私は彼に歯を磨かせてパジャマに着替えさせ、そしてベッドへ寝かせました。息子はすぐに寝てしまい、父親がそばについていたので、私は家事をしに彼の元を離れました。しかしながら、30分後くらいに夫がやってきて、彼が吐いたよと。私はそんなこともあろうかと思っていたので、あわてはしなかったです。息子に気分がよくなったかどうか聞くと「うん。ちょっと。」と。だから、重大な問題はないなと私は思いました。彼に手と顔を洗ってうがいするよう言い、そしてパジャマを着替えるのを手伝いました。彼はベッドに戻り、いま寝ています。明日はよくなっていると良いなと思います。
