Empowerment / Sing Like Talking
(See Feb. 13, 2011 first)Today is 23rd anniversary of S.L.T.'s professional career.From 2004, each of them was concentrating on their solo works.In spring 2009, they came back once for a special concert of a radio station. (See May 19, 2009)After that, they hit it off again for their new recording and works.And they came back together, improving each of their respective realms of expertise in seven years.Since they absorb various range of music, they believe that they can create their own music if they create what they believe.The opening of "Through the Night" with a sense of fun must show that.It was Chiaki Fujita who decided to start this album with this song.During the past seven years, Chiaki was working on producing and engineering.Chiaki insists that we should listen to this album with CD players with speakers for music:Recently, more and more people enjoy music with portable players with ear bud, but we cannot truly enjoy the real sound quality including Chikuzen Satou's vocal tone."Empowerment" means to give ourselves more control over our own life or the situation we are in:In eight years while the members of S.L.T. put on years and improved maturity, their fans have put on years and live in various circumstances.Whatever the situation they are facing, all of us can find and improve ability to carve way for happiness in their life by ourselves."Kimino nakani kagayaku mono" (something shining in your spirit) and "Namida no rasen" (spiral of tears) would express that the best.(See Apr. 23, 2011)It was before the release of this album that a massive earthquake and tsunamis struck vast area of eastern Japan on Mar. 11, 2011.The release of this album was postponed more than one month -and came to us fully prepared."Inori" (prayer) from this album is included in a charity compilations album.As I mentioned before, Chikuzen and his manager were in Sendai to take part in a radio program on the very day of the earthquake.While they experienced this tragedy, Chikuzen said that the evaluation of their new songs has never changed, as for themselves.Of course, interpretations of their songs could have changed for some people.But so many men, so many minds -there is no correct interpretation of their songs-Chikuzen talked at the concert before they sang "Wild Flowers".From the same day of the release of this album, their charity song for survivors of 3.11 earthquake "Luz" is distributed."Luz" means "light" in Spanish and Portuguese.This song was recorded with the world-famous percussionist Gen Oogimi and his friends from Senegal.Incidentally- Chikuzen's new regular radio program is starting from Oct. 7.This is on air from a local radio station in Kanagawa prefecture.But with Internet or Smart Phone, you can listen to this program all over the world!May 17, 2011 Universal Music, UPCH-1829◆ ：Ready to place summery if asked

…撃沈 もしくは厄落とし
25日にご一緒した皆様、ありがとうございます。そしてお疲れ様でした。3連休直前に唾を飲み込むのも痛い程喉が腫れて熱まで出ました。それを何とかしたいと思うあまり、頓服の咳止めの使い方で何かまずいことをしたか(それも含めて病院の処方薬は一応指示どおりに服用)、今日になって胃を荒らした模様。―で、25日はどうしたかって？熱は平熱と微熱を行ったり来たりで、散々迷いましたが結局強行しました。―で、声は上がらないわそれに焦るあまりピアノソロの決めでミスを出すわで大変失礼いたしました。―あ、メドレー形式でやった2曲のうち1曲の曲名を言い忘れてしまいましたが、あれはSING LIKE TALKINGの「La La La」です。そんなこんなでライブ再開第一号は出来を見るとあまり嬉しくなかったわけですが、今回悪運を使い切ったところで今度から這い上がっていきます。リベンジの際には皆様是非。風邪の展開は私にはよく起こるパターンですが今、熱は微妙なところ―今日は何とか仕事に行ったものの明日はどないやら。―これ以上具合が悪くならないうちに―おやすみなさい

夏の終わり ～"たんでぃがーたんでぃー、みゃーく！！" （＊写真多目・長）
（―で合っていると思いますが…宮古弁で"ありがとう、宮古"）さて大変お待たせいたしました、宮古島の未シェア写真。早速実験の成果を一つ。去年新しく買ったデジカメは防水仕様で水中OK。初めて水中で使いました。ヤビジでのシュノーケリングの時、2つ目のポイントでカメラをもって入水、やみくもに数枚シャッターを切って2枚成功。その後はカメラを船に置いてゆっくり泳ぎました。できることなら泳ぎながら見た光景全てカメラに収めたかったのですが。 実は前の日に、来間島を臨む前浜海岸でピラティスというエクササイズを習った後、海に入った時に日焼け止めが流れて、脚が短パン焼けして真っ赤に、という大失敗。当然、治ったら黒いストッキング状態に… （短パンのようなスポーツ水着着用）普段脚出しファッションなどしないもので、余計ハイダメージ。 （こちらはその来間島より宮古島側）それでウェットスーツだと身体を締め付けて日焼けした脚や肩が痛いので、ワンサイズ大きいのを用意していただいたら大きすぎて、まるでドライスーツ。そんなこんなで1999年の小笠原以来のシュノーケリングでした。青いスズメダイの仲間（だと思う。もう1枚成功した水中写真に写っている）や、クマノミ（ニモ。意外と小さかった）、他にも名前が分からないカラフルな魚もいて、美しい光景。しかし…海底に1匹だけですがオニヒトデらしきものを見つけてしまいました。サンゴを食い荒らして大問題になっているというのはあいつか…今回、旅行に誘ってくださった方は、ダイビングの資格を取ってサンゴ礁の保護活動に参加したいと語っており、ツアー最終日にはみんなでビーチクリーンをやったそうです。朝の便で宮古を発つ必要がなければ私も参加したかったですね…宮古在住で今回のツアーの面倒を見てくださった方に教わった注意点―・サンゴに触らない―遊泳中、フィンでサンゴを蹴らないように・魚にえさをやらない、ゴミを捨てない ―などは当然・「紫外線吸収タイプ」の日焼け止めの成分は、少量でもサンゴにはダメージになるといいます。日焼け止めはノンケミカルの「紫外線反射タイプ」のものを。（「日焼け止め 成分」で検索したら調べられる） この亜熱帯植物園の向かいのカフェ「フルーツフィールド カーム」のソフトクリームのフレーバーの種類が多く（ガイドブックには34種類と出ていた）、どれにしようか迷うのも楽しいです。この旅行から帰ってきた日はまだ暑かったのですが、"あ～、今年の夏が終わったんだ"と感じたのでした。そしてその後台風15号襲来…しばらく沖縄に停滞した後、急に進路を北東に変えて本土を駆け抜けていきましたね。こちらは土砂降りの雨だったものの上陸は免れましたが…名古屋のいとこが心配になってメールしたら、出張で静岡に行っていたけれど帰れるかいな、と返信。自然の美しさと猛威を同時に体感した2週間強でございました。

お魚バトン
Q1 ずばりあなたの好きな魚は？食用なら鮭、鰆観賞用ならチョウチョウウオ、エンゼルフィッシュ（エンゼルフィッシュに似た形の熱帯海水魚、いますよね―下記のヤビジでも見ましたが何て名前だったか） Q2 魚料理で好きな調理方法は？(煮る・焼く等)焼くほうが好き。他、炒め物やムニエル、グラタンなどの料理でもよくいただく。Q3 おすし屋さんで好きなネタは？鰻、鮪、サーモン、玉子Q4 鮭とサーモンの違いは分かる？Q5 魚のように、泳ぐのは得意？子供の頃、水泳教室に行っていたが、テスト、テストばかりであまり楽しくなかった。しかしそのおかげで、体育は嫌いでも水泳授業だけは楽しかったし、下記のようにマリンスポーツができるし、今考えるとありがたいこと。Q6 最近行った水族館を教えてください。最後に行った水族館はおそらく2007年秋の小樽水族館それより、宮古島のヤビジでシュノーケリングをやって、サンゴ礁で色とりどりの魚が泳ぐ光景に感動。Q7 三枚おろし出来ますか？高校の家庭科で習ったが…魚をさばくのはきれいにはできないただ魚を焼くのは結構得意。煮魚は―皮が破れたり味がしみなかったりと、失敗するほうが多い。Q8 今、何の魚が食べたい？秋刀魚。シーズンですから。脂が多くて焼くのは大変ながら、ニラと中華風炒めにしても美味。 9月8日から12日まで宮古島に行ってまいりました。1999年～2000年のミレニアム年末年始の家族旅行以来の沖縄。（2010.9.6参照）今回は仲間内の私的なツアーで―といっても実のところ、誘ってくださった方以外は全員初めまして、でしたが、向こうでご一緒した皆様、色々お世話になりました。おかげさまで充実した素晴らしい旅になりました。ところが…宮古を発つ前の日にアクシデントに見舞われてしまい…宮古での最終日だっただけマシでしたが―とはいえ、結果としてはそれ故になおさら忘れられない旅になったのもまた事実。助けてくださった方々に、この場をお借りしてお礼を申し上げます。誠にありがとうございました。他の未シェア写真などは後日改めて。 ＜バトン持ち帰り＞ http://blog.fc2.com/baton/17464/

Try Again / Tsuyoshi Nagabuchi
Half year since 3.11 earthquake.(Back then)(Last month)Originally, this album including this title tune "Try Again" was on sale last autumn.As this title shows, this song must have been encouraging many people, not only his fans.Even so, who would ever know that this song would turn out to be one of the most important encouraging message for us?Just after 3.11 earthquake, Nagabuchi was also the one who was discouraged that it might not be the right time to sing. (See also Apr. 23, 2011)But after the access to stricken area became possible, he visited the bases of the Self-Defense Forces working at the spot.And he keeps on supporting the victims various ways:He started a radio program for the stricken area from April, held a summer camp in Kagoshima for children evacuated from towns near atomic power plants in Fukushima, and made a release of charity work "Try Again for Japan" -newly recorded with human voice of about one hundred people:Nagabuchi visited Ishinomaki for recording of a music program, one of the place damaged the worst, and dedicated this song with about one thousand various people -about one hundred children, residents, gospel choirs from Tokyo and Sendai, college students in Sendai.Nagabuchi declared that a bond between people is fragile, but it would be stronger if they are tied; voices get stronger if people get together one by one -he would like to create a song for reconstruction with the power of those human voices.Like various folk and rock musicians, Nagabuchi has various critical songs against society and government -such as "Shiran furi" (playing the innocent) in this album.On the B-side of "Try Again for Japan" includes "Ouchie kaerou (version 2011)" (let's go home) - a song he was going to sing at Year-end Grand Song Festival in 1990, but was changed to other song due to a phrase of urinating over the Diet Building: The second verse is rewritten to criticize the government after 3.11 earthquake more sensationally.(See also Jun. 7, 2011)Incidentally- Nagabuchi is appreciated highly not only as a singer wielding influence over many younger rock musicians -"manly" would be really suitable for him -, but also as an actor.In summer 2010, he took part in a special drama for the anniversary of the end of World War II and acted a spirit of a soldier died in one of the fierce battlefields during World War II."Aishiteiru to tsutaete kudasai" (please bring word "I love you") is the theme song of this drama and its original theater act.I understand that today is just 10 years since terrorist attack in 2001.But this time, let me place my prayer for the victims of 3.11 earthquake.(Translation: Unable-to-think-up-handle)"Try Again": November 10, 2010 Nayutawave Records UPCH-20210 "Try Again for Japan": September 7, 2011 Nayutawave Records UPCH-80249◆ ：Ready to place summery if asked

阿美族的複音音楽 （＊写真・画像多目）
8/6～9日の2度目の台湾旅行の帰りに空港の免税店で買ってきたものです。台湾原住民の中で人口規模が最も多く、台湾の東海岸を中心に居住するアミ族（中国語表記：阿美族）の伝統歌唱。「除草歌」「古老的工作歌」「工作完工歌」といった労働歌、「歓迎歌」「老人教青年跳送客舞」のようなコミュニティで歌われる歌、「乞雨歌」「巫師治病歌」といった祈りの歌―などがあり、ほとんどの曲はリーダー格の人が主旋律を歌い、数人がメロディーを絡めていく「Polyphonic singing」（「対位法」「多声音楽」つまり独立の旋律を持ちながら、調和した2つ以上のメロディーから成る）という形。しかも各パートの歌詞が違うんだそうです。（解説書は台湾語と英語のみ）かなり複雑なメロディーの上、即興で歌っている部分も多いみたいで中には音程も分かりにくいものも。（絶対音感があるといっても、私が西洋音階に慣れ過ぎているせいではあるでしょうが）エニグマの「Return to Innocence」にアミ族の歌唱のサンプリングが使われたことでアミ族の歌が世界的に知られるようになった ―とは台湾の国内線の機内誌にも載っていました。その後1998年に音源の無断使用でアミ族のパフォーマンスグループの郭英男（ディファン）・秀珠（イガイ）夫妻が訴訟を起こし、和解金の支払いと今後のリリースで彼らの名前をクレジットすることを条件に裁判が終結したという、その原曲「老人飲酒歌」は… ―入って―なさそうです。似たメロディーラインの歌ならありますが。―ただ、解説書の「演唱人」のページにこの二人の名前も。そのアミ族の居住地域の一つ・花蓮の阿美文化村でのパフォーマンスの一コマ。 観客参加の舞踊もいくつかあり、「竹竿の踊り」と紹介されていた舞踊に私も参加（写真は母とガイドさんが撮ってくれましたが―遠慮いたします）「結婚式の踊り」という演目では観客の男性が花婿役に引っ張り出されていました。前回は台北だけでしたが、8月に行ったのは花蓮・高雄も回るツアーでした。花蓮は東海岸の町。台湾の山脈は東に寄っているため、海岸からいきなりそそり立つ高い山々に圧倒されそうな光景。大理石で有名なタロコ国立公園。（大理石の採石場は違う所） 上記の国内線で高雄へひとっ飛び。高雄の忠烈祠より高雄市街。 この高雄忠烈祠の丘のふもとの寺院に立ち寄った時、願ったのは東日本大震災のとき日本をたくさん助けてくれたことに感謝いたします。この素晴らしい人達と島をお守りください―ということだったことだけシェアいたします。台北の忠烈祠（戦没者の英霊を祭る場所、つまり台湾の靖国神社）の衛兵交代式は有名ですが、節度ある行動を心がけましょう。（＊この写真は前回の旅行で） あとこの場所で喫煙および帽子をかぶるのはご法度（ダジャレができてしまいました。すみません） おまけ一緒に回った方のリクエストで食べに立ち寄ったマンゴーかき氷。（写真は、味の付いた氷を雪のように細かく削ったスイーツ）以前は、マンゴーと聞いてもあまり食指が動くほうではなかったのですが、これでマンゴーが本当に美味しいと感じました。1993年 Music in China Publishing Co. ／ Wind Records Co. ・I suppose there are still as many people as ever who rush in caterwaul just by seeing only superficial things, both in real world and virtual world.Let me suggest just that it would be wiser to keep away from rabbles of people who enjoy themselves bullying and abusing other people, or you assimilate into them, too.The same thing goes for on the Web. (See also Aug. 24, 2011)As long as I've watched those TV shows, I don't remember ever having good impressions about the famous TV personality who turned out to be in relationship with a crime syndicate and suddenly retired -although it is no doubt that he is talented and influential.When I heard the news about that, it came up in my mind that this hypothesis would be possible:He treated other people spitefully on TV shows and won high audience ratings.Then, such negativism ended up in drawing the relationship with gangs with same destructive state of mind.The backgrounds how their association began aside, like attracts like, as is often said.-I have to read technical books of psychology and spiritualism in English to translate my ideas perfectly.This might be something we could be thankful: He's shown a negative exemplum what disdain brings in the end.(See also Nov. 9, 2007)・In the country with the largest population in the world, a policy of one child per family has been in force.They wish to have a baby boy if they can have only one child, so as a result, many female fetuses are aborted and a large gender imbalance has become a major problem.The central authorities are trying to crack down on illegal sex check for fetus gender selection -but it can be doubtful that it is effective unless they correct excessive male chauvinism.As for the population problem, they might tell us to mind our own business, though.
