河津で「ずがにまつり」が始まりました
毎年、河津川流域の民宿や旅館では10月初めから12月28日まで「ずがにまつり」として川に生息するモクズガニ料理を提供しています。伊豆の国市の大仁でも「ズガニ料理まつり」としてモクズガニ料理を提供しています。ただ、数が多く獲れるカニでは無いので提供できる宿もモクズガニ漁の権利のある漁業組合の方とつながりが無いと仕入れができないので大々的なものではありません。モクズガニはあまり大きくないですから、例えば戸田のタカアシガニのように口いっぱいカニをほおばる事もできないです。でも、この季節限定でさっぱりしたモクズガニは素朴な味で美味しく頂けます。塩ゆででそのまま食べたり、かにご飯やかに汁などの料理にも良く合います。季節の旬ですので是非お試しください。HP

10月23日(木)河津町見高の舞台三番叟が演じられます
10月23日(木)江戸時代の文化を今に伝える貴重な舞台河津町見高の三番叟が演じられます。三番叟（さんばそう）は、江戸時代に見高出身の江戸歌舞伎の名優四代目市川小団次により伝えられました。その後、小団次の養子左団次の指導のもと「廻り舞台」のついた神楽殿が完成し、貴重な建築物として残っています。三番叟を上演する舞台には江戸歌舞伎に使用されていた引き幕が張られています。三番叟は、江戸時代から現在まで引き継がれている貴重な舞台で、毎年演じられています。町指定無形民俗文化財の見高神社三番叟は秋祭りの10月23日に、境内の回り舞台付きの神楽殿で舞われています。この神楽殿には、見高出身といわれる歌舞伎の名優市川小団次・養子の左団次から贈られた貴重な幕が残されており、三番叟が上演されるときに公開されます。
