7月21日（月・祝）修善寺で頼家祭りが開催されます

２０１６年１月に「アジア自転車競技選手権大会」が伊豆市の「伊豆ベロドローム」で開かれます
アジア地域の自転車競技のトップ選手が出場する「アジア自転車競技選手権大会」が２０１６年１月に伊豆市のドーム型屋内自転車競技場「伊豆ベロドローム」で開かれることが内定しました。伊豆ベロドロームはスプリントやケイリン、１０００メートルタイムトライアル、最大２４人が競うポイントレースなどトラックレースの会場になる予定です。アジア・ジュニア自転車競技選手権大会も併せて行われるとうことです。選手団は１６年１月６日に来日。７日に監督会議や公式練習があり、８日から１１日までの４日間、トラックレースを行う予定です。県は選手・観客の移動手段や宿泊施設の確保に向けた支援、観光ＰＲ、選手団の静岡空港利用の働き掛けなどを検討する模様です。 伊豆ベロドロームは伊豆市大野の日本サイクルスポーツセンター内に建設された施設です。木製走路を採用し、周長２５０メートルの板張りトラックを設置した、世界レベルの自転車競技大会の開催が可能な規格になっています。
