Las provincias
I was reading a newspaper (or I should say tabloid).The name of it is “Las provincias”.I asked Ichiro-san to send it to me from Valencia.Muchísimas gracious, Sr. Ichiro!!!I guess you already knew the reason I asked him to send it.There was two pages interview to Pablo Aimar!Two pages! That’s a long interview, isn’t it?I was so happy except the fact that I must look for many words in a dictionary.He talked about his physical matters, his works, his team, the matches which were left, and his family.I suppose this is my first time to read his long interview like this.The two phrases I like most were as below.En los partidos siempre intento jugar todos los balones, corro, no me escondo nunca... Pero fuera del campo, ¿qué es ser líder? ¿Ir a todos los programas de radio y televisión y hablar en la prensa y pelearse con todos? Si eso es un líder, no me gusta.(My translation)During the matches, I concentrate on playing football and run. But outside of the pitch, what is the top player? Should I show up every program of radio and television and talk to media and argue with them? If it is the top player, I don’t want to be one of them.Le va a gustar más la paella que el asado.(My translation)He (Aimar’s son) is going to like more paella than asado (traditional Argentinean food).I suppose both phrases represent his character very much as a footballer and as a father.There is a match against Numancia tonight.I want him to play and win this match!

Mar adentro
I went to see a movie called “the sea inside”.It is directed by Alejandro Amenábar and Javier Bardem plays the main role.Apparently, the story was based on the real story.Ramón Sampedro (Javier Bardem) who is searching for the right of death with dignity.He had broken his neck by the accident and he couldn’t move his body since then. The only part of his body which could move was above his neck.He was sustained his life by the support of his family but the life was hard for him to live. His family and he loved each other very much.Because of this love, he longed for dying and his family wanted to prevent it.It was the first time in so many years that I cried when I saw movies. I was quite moved by their love.I think this is one of the best movies in my life.やっぱり英語だと書ききれませんねぇ(>_

そろそろ貯め撮りした写真も終了です。また何かとりに行かなくっちゃ。ゴールデン・ウィークだし！これは木と水の配置がいいかなと思ったのと、左下にうまくハトが入ったので、逃げられないうちにパチリ。今、気が付きましたが、奥に人がいっぱいいますね。撮ってるときは全然見えてなかった・・・（＝ド素人）トホホッでも私は結構気に入ってます！

そろそろ季節外れになってきましたが、引き続き”桜”です。あと何枚くらい写真が残ってるんだろう？？？さて、本日の写真でのポイントは、奥のほうの水面に白く写っている部分。これは全て、桜の花びら。動いてるのかわからないけれど、やはり流れに沿っているようで、水面に綺麗な桜の花びらの模様が出来上がっていました。う～ん美しい！

Constantina!?
今日は、“コンスタンティン”を観てきました。スペイン語の辞書に”Constantine”と入れたら、タイトルのように変換されました。人の名前でも英語とスペイン語では違いが出てしまうのですね！必要がないとは思いますが、軽～くストーリーをご紹介。小さな頃から他人には見えないものが見えるという能力を持ったジョン・コンスタンティン（キアヌ・リーブス）。その能力が元で精神を病み、一度自殺をはかる。自殺という大罪を帳消しにし、天国に行くために人間界にはびこる悪魔どもを地獄へ送り返すエクソシストとなる。いつもどおりダラダラ～っと仕事をしていたが、今回の件はいつもと何かが違う。そして彼の前に双子の姉を自殺で亡くしたアンジェラ（レイチェル・ワイズ）が登場し・・・一説には『背景が変わったらマトリックス』といわれがちなこの作品ですが、私は結構楽しめました。キアヌのファンの方は、勧めなくても見に行かれると思いますが、“ハムナプトラ”から強い女になった（？）レイチェルもかなりかっこいいです。しかし黒いブラジャーとかつけているのに、なぜかお色気ムンムン（死語？）にならないレイチェル、割と好きです(^^)内容が天国と地獄の闘争ですが、別に聖書に精通してなくてもハリウッド・ムービーとしては充分楽しめると思います。

Vitamina F
I started reading a book called “ビタミンＦ (Vitamin F)”.It was a Naoki Literary Award prize winner in 2001.It is a short collection.I’ve just read the first two stories.I didn’t usually read Japanese novel.And I wasn’t interested in Naoki Literary Award.My impression of Naoki Literary Award winner was something dark and depressed.So, I didn’t care about it at all.Then why I started reading this one?It is simple. One of teachers advised us to read them.According to him, they are good text to learn lively Japanese communications.I don’t know what lively Japanese communications are yet but I found it quite interesting to read.The first novel of this book is called “ゲンコツ (Fist)” and the second one is “はずれくじ.(Losing ticket)”.Both works describe the feeling of middle aged men quite well.Their sadness, anger and hope.Thank to my teacher, I got interested in Japanese novels!タイトル： ビタミンＦ (Vitamin F)著者 ： 重松 清 (Kiyoshi Shitematsu)出版社 ： 新潮社 (Shinchosha Co.)価格 ： 514円(税別)

Amores de Ame’rica
以前購入して見ていなかったDVD達を片付ける時がやってまいりました。映像翻訳の学校に通いながら、見ている映画の本数が少なすぎると先生に指摘されたためです。というとてもネガティブな動機ではありますが、いつかは見たいと思っていたものなので、良い機会かと思っています。さてさて今回の作品は“アメリカン・スウィートハート”。字幕から推測するに、“アメリカン・スウィートハート”とはアメリカを代表するお似合いカップル（？）というものらしい。日本で言うと･･･反町隆と松島奈々子、木村拓哉と工藤静香なのかな？？？このDVDを買ったのは、ジョン・キューザックとビリー・クリスタルが出ていたから。。。相変わらず狙いが少しずれている私です。しかしこの作品、私はハマりました。ビリー・クリスタルの独特の喋り方。この人、どこで息継ぎしてんだろうっていうくらい滑らかなシャベリ。そして『笑わせようとは全然思ってませんよ』というポーカー・フェイスでさら～っと観客を笑わせてしまう。ホント最高です！！！この作品は、映画の宣伝マン リー（クリスタル）が『とある映画』の完成試写会を任されるところからスタート。この『とある映画』とはかつてはアメリカを代表する仲良しカップルが主役。当時であれば絶対にヒット間違いなしというもの。しかし女優 グウェン（ゼタ＝ジョーンズ）が不倫。それに激怒した俳優 エディ（キューザック）がバイクでグウェンとその愛人をひき殺そうとし、精神病院へ入れられてしまう。さらに監督はいつまでたっても編集が終わらず、完成のめどは立たない。それもこの監督、なんとなくクサイ・・・何かをたくらんでいる様子。そしてグウェンの妹 キキ（ジュリア・ロバーツ）はエディに以前より惹かれていて・・・この錚々たるメンバーが完成試写会が終わるまでの１～２日、砂漠の真ん中のホテルに監禁状態。リーは無事この完成試写会を成功させられるのか？すっごい設定ですよね。そしてジョン・キューザック。私はこの人の“キレる”演技が大好きです。今回も自分は精神病なんだと思い込んだり、さらにグウェンとよりを戻したくて、あり得ない行動に出てます。そして俳優さんの役なので、わがまま放題。かなりお子様状態。イケてます！あっ、DVDには“ジュリア・ロバーツ＆キャサリン・ゼタ＝ジョーンズ主演”ってなってます。ので美しい女性を鑑賞されたい方にもおすすめです。しか～し！字幕の勉強のために見てたつもりだったのに、やっぱり内容が面白すぎて途中から普通に見てしまった。。。でも途中でリーがエディのリムジンを止め、「グウェンが後ろにいるんだけど、ホテルに着く順番はどっちが先がいい？」と何度も聞いたもんだから、エディーキレまくり。そこらにある食べ物なんかを窓の外に投げつけながら“I don’t care! I don’t care! I don’t care!”を連呼するシーンでは、それごとにちゃんと言葉が変わっていて凄かったです！私だったらあんなに言葉が出てこないだろうなぁと。。。

だんだん時期はずれになってきてしまいましたが、またまた桜です。なんででしょうね？桜だけは他の花とは自分の中で扱いが違う気がします。他の国にもこの花は特別っていうのがあるんでしょうか？そういえばイギリスの国の花は、確かバラでしたよね？スペインの国の花って何なんだろう？？？と思ってGoogleで調べてみました。スペインはカーネーションだそうです。ご興味のある方は見てみてください！世界の国花http://www.hana300.com/aakokka.htmlどうやら『季節の花300(http://www.hana300.com/index.html)』というサイトの１ページだったようです。

そして人ごみが凄かったです報告パート２．まるでヒロ・ヤマガタの絵のように人がグチャグチャ～っといます。ある意味カラフル！？これ見てると良く行ったよなぁ、と自分で自分を褒めてあげたくなります。（人ごみが苦手なので）そういやぁ、鶴岡八幡宮出たとたんに茹ですぎたほうれん草のようにクッタリしてました。家にたどり着くか心配になるくらいで(^^;)やっぱり体力不足なのかな～？

el paisaje hermoso
It is Friday, at last!I saw a TV program called “桜の花の咲く頃に(at the season of the cherry blossoms bloom)”.It was a documentary of teachers and students of high school in Hokkaido.I only watched for about twenty minutes and it was almost ending of the program.They showed the update of each students and teachers.Some of them went to universities and prep schools.Others started working as a business person, fishermen and so on.I was quite moved by the end of it.Why are we moved when we see or attend a graduation ceremony?Is it only Japanese who are moved and cry at the ceremony?I just wonder.At the end of the program, it showed a cherry tree.The cherry tree didn’t look like a usual cherry tree at all.The part of its skin was peeled off, some branches were torn off because of the heavy snow but its flowers still bloomed.The scenery, green grass, blue sky, brown tree and light pink flower, was unbelievably beautiful.I felt so happy that we still have a place like it in Japan.We must proud of it, right?

masaje del pie!?
I went to a masseuse to get a reflexology treatment.Reflexology is a foot massage.The massage is too painful to bear when you are not feeling well.I have been lacking of sleep these days so I was worried for taking the massage.I asked the clerk not to give me a hard one.Then I closed my eyes to relax.Although I closed my eyes, I was too sensitive and I was quite awake.I heard other customer’s snore and it made me be more tensed.I was checked that my mouth was closed and not snoring.It seemed I lost conscious when I thought “I can’t relax at all”.For me, I lost over thirty minutes during the blink.But I realized that my feet much lighter than before.Perhaps, my legs are thinner also than before!How amazing the reflexology is!

本日は”狛犬！”なんちゃって・・・たまたま撮ったらうまく凛々しい姿が撮れていたので掲載してみました。お散歩で鶴岡八幡宮とは、きっと由緒正しいワンちゃんなのでしょうね！？お行儀がよいのか、ほとんど微動だにしてなかったし。。。ちなみに知り合いのワンちゃんではないので、名前は不明。動くもの全般の撮影は大変苦手なので、私にしては大変珍しい動物写真でした。

Reunio’n divertida
I attended a meeting today.Usually, meeting is boring and sleepy.I always try not to show that I’m half asleep. (-o-)zzzBut today’s meeting was different.The people who attended were five women and four men.One of men reported he held a lecture at some women’s college.He only reported that he finished it successfully.But then, our boss said “You have something to add, don’t you?”My colleague didn’t seem to understand the meaning of what she said.And she continued “I heard you are a quite popular guy there! Some girls was chasing after you. Is that correct?”He was astonished and kept his mouth open for a while. It seemed he didn’t know what to say and he still didn’t get what was going on there.He flushed up and other guys started bugging him.“You must report what exactly happened there!”“Why on earth some girls followed you?”“I did these lectures various times and I haven’t chased by girls at all! Why you?”“Oh, you look quite young, so they thought you are almost the same age! Perhaps, they thought you are one of them.”You know why they say these things.“Jealousy”, that’s it!I guess it was the first time we had a lively meeting. (^^;)Thanks for this funny report, I wasn’t sleepy at all!!!

TAXi 3
I saw a movie called “TAXi 3”.I like this series, so I really wanted to see it.It was a perfect comedy.I don’t usually watch French movies but I like Luc Besson.In my opinion, French movies are difficult understand and tend to use a complicated relationship or hard life.But when I watched “The Fifth Element”, my image was totally changed.If I didn’t know the fact that he was the director, I would think it was a Hollywood movie.Since then, I watch his movies.The funniest thing of all in this movie is the taxi itself.Every time, Daniel who is a main character improves the function of the taxi.This time, it has a function of snowmobile.That was hilarious!If you like comedy movie or car, please watch it when you have time!

本日の写真は・・・なんていうんでしょう？まずい、名前がわからない・・・ご存知の方はご連絡ください！この車（？）に笛、太鼓を演奏する人々が乗ってまして、これ自体を人々が引っ張っていました。良く見えないと思いますが、手前の男性が赤ちゃんを抱きながら演奏してます。大音量、さらに時折この車自体がグルグル左へ右へと回されるにも関わらず、ぐっすり寝てました。かわいかったですよ～～～(*^u^*)手前にうまい具合に桜も入っていたので、掲載してみました！

En espan~ol, "Asuntos Infernales"?
I saw a movie called “Infernal Affairs”.The movie was made in Hong Kong.Andy Lau and Tony Leung starred in it.I don’t usually watch Hong Kong movie but I wanted to see this, because I see commercial film of its latest series almost everyday.I suppose these advertisements made me watch it.I think the story and actors are great.It was a story of two men.One of them is a policeman who sneaks in mafia and the other is a member of mafia who sneaks in police.Two of them pass the information to the group which they originally work for.I don’t like mafia’s movie but this one is quite different from the others.I felt thrilled, sad, and moved.The scene that I was moved the most was SP Wong’s death.I was truly moved when I saw Tony Leung’s act.His face and his shaking hands describe how much he got shocked and stunned and his disbelief.Although I saw it on TV, I recommend you to see this movie.I’m sure it will be better to watch video or DVD!This movie is worth watching!Now I really want to see the latest one in the theater!

No puedo pagar ningu’n dinero por este collar!
I found a funny ad in a magazine.The product was a necklace.I wasn’t JUST A NECKLACE at all, as you can imagine.It was made of gold and pearl.Still nomal…All right, the shape was hilarious!Gold pig holds a pearl!!!You know there is a proverb “豚に真珠 Buta ni Shinju”.We use this proverb when we describe someone who posses stuff that they don’t deserve it.For example, someone is wearing billions dollars accessory but it doesn’t suit her at all.The funny of all, this necklace is not made for fun.This ad said “this pig and pearl necklace will bring a fortune and luck to you!”And it cost more than twenty thousand yen!!!I couldn’t believe it! But I suppose there are people who buy it.I want to be a person who can spend twenty thousand yen for this funny accessory, just for fun!

本日の写真は・・・お囃子です。ピ～ヒャラピ～ヒャラです。確か『鎌倉のお囃子を守る会』のような名前の方々でした。でもこの人たちが乗っているもの、なんだかわかりますか？ミニトラックです・・・最初見たときは結構絶句でした(--;)伝統を守るのも大変なんですねぇ～（違う？）そうそう、この日、恒例のおみくじを引きました。結果は“凶”・・・絶句・・・じ～っとおみくじを見つめる私。あぁ、やっぱり幸薄いのね、私って・・・と悲劇のヒロインにどっぷり漬かっていたのに、まわりから『やっだぁ。。。“凶”だって。縁起悪～い！』『うぇ～。なんだよぉ～“凶”だってよぉ～』『やったぁ～！“中吉”ぃ～！』という声が・・・これは、類は友を呼ぶなんでしょうか？日本が全体的に運がないんでしょうか？それとも、『お守り買ってね』プロモーションだったんでしょうか！？なんとなく納得できず、別のお店（？）でもう一度おみくじ引いてみました。結果は！！！“凶”でした（。。；）2回連続で“凶”引くってのも、ある意味強運の持ち主ってことで！ちなみに内容は『何にでも良い時期だけではない。悪い時期をクリアしたからこそ、良い時期がやってくるのである。あなたはその「最悪」のシーズンにいるだけ。後は上るだけ！』と、とっても良いこと（？）が書いてありました。とりあえず、チョット辛抱すればうなぎのぼりらしいっすよ！（ポジティブ思考）I totally forgot to explain these pictures which I took on Sunday in English.Today’s picture is a musical accompaniment.They played drums, and Japanese flute.Do you know where they are on?They are on a small truck which is usually used for delivering goods not people.It was quite curious.I guess about nine to twelve people were on the truck and took turn to play drums.I saw a girl who looked tired got off the truck and a boy who had sat behind her moved to a front row, and then started playing.That was a quite good system, wasn’t it?

There were English lessons today.Today’s topic was cross-cultural communication.It wasn’t really cross-cultural communication, but I found it quite interesting.We talked about the cultural gap that we experienced before.My teacher said some of my stories were interesting.They were like these.I got shocked that I didn’t see any mountain from my dormitory.I was about to enter my house with my shoes on when I got home.I kept saying “uh huh” without noticing it.I mixed up languages. When I try to speak in Spanish, I speak in English, and I try to speak in English, I speak in Spanish. Far more worse, I forgot Japanese words. Once, I wanted to say “It was extraordinary (big)” in Japanese. I said “これはextraordinaryですね”.That was a good laugh.My teacher said Japanese customer services are so great and he gets used to it. Then he got home and found American customer services are quite different from the ones in Japan. Do you really want to know in what way? I won’t say anything about it, so please use your imagination!

La vuelta de la Momia!?
I saw a movie called “The Mummy Returns” on TV.I liked the first movie so I was really looking forward to seeing it.I started watching it about 10 minutes after it started.I was disappointed that I lost the first 10 minutes, but I decided to watch it.I chose to listen to the original voice to improve my English listening skills.At first, I thought it was a good idea to choose English one, but I regretted it in the middle of the movie.You know what I am talking about if you have watched it.The villain, High Priest Imhotep, shows up in the middle of the movie.And he hardly speaks in English. He speaks only Arabic, Hebrew??? I have no idea.If you have any idea, please let me know.Anyway, I didn’t understand at all what he and his servant talk.But I thought “it is al right. They have a conspiracy. That’s it!”You don’t have to know the details, do you?Literally, I don’t understand half of the conversation, but I enjoyed watching it!It happens that I rewrite its story in my mind, but who cares? (^^;)Brendan Fraser was cool, funny as always. He is one of my favorite actors.But I found Oded Fehr who played Ardeth Bey was cool, too!!!

I went to a beauty parlor to have my hair cut.Unfortunately, it is the last day for it.They will close it for sometimes.I didn’t know much about it, but I heard a little bit about its history from a hairdresser.I was quite surprised at its history.It established over twenty years ago.And its chain shop started from there.It might be rude to say but it is not located quite fashionable place.I thought these kinds of shop starts from a gorgeous place like Ginza or Harajuku.The shop where I went today was in a usual small town.She said its owner didn’t want to close it because it’s a first shop for them.But the building is quite old and they need a new place.Maybe they will come back somehow, but nobody is sure about it.Spring is not only the season to start something new but also to finish something for preparing for the next thing.It was fine day and I saw many beautiful cherry blossoms.I took over one hundred photographs and I am going to put them from now on.I’m not sure I’ll make a page for it or just put them each day in my blog.Anyway, I want you to enjoy the photos that I took!

I translated Mista’s comment from a picture book called “vidas de fútbol” on April 4.But I made a mistake.I translated “zapatillas” as slippers but my master of español did it as “shoes”.I looked it up in a dictionary so I believed it was right, but I think the word “shoes” is a better translation this time.The phrase “a pair of shoes” is “un par de zapatos” in Spanish.Sometimes people add “-illo” and “-illa” when they speak Spanish.For example, “Perro (dog)” turns to be “perrillo”.“Caza (house)” turns to be “casilla”.These “-illo” and “-illa” means something small.So “perrillo” is puppy and “casilla” means small house.I always get confused by them.For me, they are different words.So, every time I see these words, I look it up in a dictionary.However, I found it interesting. Each language has its own secrets and mysteries.Perhaps, I like solving these mysteries!?The trouble is, I can’t remember them although I have ever solved!!!

Las fotos de mi profesor
There was an English lesson today.We didn’t use textbook and talked about pictures which my teacher had taken.The pictures he took were quite interesting.He explained me what technique he used in some pictures.I like taking pictures and I kept saying “Hugh! Wow! Ah!”It sounded like I have no vocabulary.It was interesting that he took some road sign, “don’t cross the street”, “don’t park here” and so on.I did the same when I was abroad.For me, some of them were funny and the others were beautiful as painting.But I know I look like a fool from a native people’s point of view.I said the same thing in the class and my teacher said it was ok. He took these pictures for his record. Maybe, in ten or twenty years, you look back the days with these pictures. You can tell your friends how you spend your life then from these.I thought it was a quite good way of thinking.Cherry blossoms are going to bloom.It is a best season for taking pictures in Japan.Perhaps, I’ll go out somewhere with my camera at this weekend!

先日、“曲芸師”“写真店”などで有名なＡ社から『新しいシステムのお知らせ』が届いた。なにやらシステム変更に伴い、IDが変わったとのこと。どうやら以前に登録を複数取っていたらしく、毎回のようにお知らせが２つ届いていたが、今回もやはり２つ届いた。とりあえずメールを1つ開き、指定されたサイトにアクセス、新IDを入れてみたが、パスワードが思い出せない・・・「なんだっけなぁ？？？ まいっかこれで」と思いついたものをパスワード欄に入れてみたところ、やっぱりエラーメッセージがでてしまった。「こっちだったかなぁ・・・」と違うものを入れてみてもやはりエラー。どっかにメモってるかもとパスワードを探している間に新しいメールが届いた。差出人はそのＡ社。開いてみると、『お伝えした新IDが間違えていたので、お送りしたメールを削除してください』という内容。確かに元のメールを見てみると新旧ともに同じIDが書かれていた。「こんな有名な会社でもこんなことがあるのねぇ」とメールを削除しようと思ったが、何かが引っかかり、その日は削除せずに作業を終了した。翌日の夜、ふとそのことを思い出した途端、頭の中が「やっぱりヘンだぁ～！フィッシング詐欺に引っかかったんだぁ～！」の大合唱！指定されたアドレスを見直してみると、やはり少し同社のアドレスと違っているように見える。いやでも増してくる不安・・・やっぱり問い合わせしてみたほうが良かろうと思い、もう一度同社のサイトにアクセスした。私がずっと見ていたショッピングのサイトにはお問い合わせ窓口が見つからず、さらに焦る。。。同社の総合トップまで戻ったところで、お問い合わせが見つかった。そこで初めて『新しいシステムのお知らせというタイトルのメールについて』を発見。もうこの頃には心臓が口から出ちゃってる状態。死んだ魚の目で内容を読む私。。。『弊社からお送りしたメール・・・うんちゃらかんちゃら・・・』あれっ『弊社からお送りした』って書いてある！これって詐欺じゃなかったの？助かった・・・の？はい、とっても取り越し苦労でした（。。；）でもこういう取り越し苦労って現代病ですよね！みなさまもお気をつけください！！！
