But by lunchtime the next day I am sure I will find room for another roast. When you think about it, it is pretty weird that the day after an enormous meal we can eat exactly the same quantity again. Did we not learn our lesson the first time?クリスマス・ディナーを食べた後どういう気分になるか私は確信をもっていえる。眠気を感じて動きが鈍くなり絶対に満腹状態になる。しかし翌日の昼食までには、確信をもってまた焼き肉を食べられる。こう考えると、たくさんのご馳走の翌日また同じ量が食べられるというのはおかしなことだ。我々は１回目の教訓を学んでいないのだろうか。 Why do we still feel hungry after feasts like Thanksgiving or Christmas?
