今年一番の寒さ
毎日ストーブをめいっぱい使って温める。体にホッカイロ２個を身につける。こんなに寒い冬は記憶にない。 でも３ｍの豪雪にじっと耐えている人たちがいることを思うとまだましなのだろう。

昨日は毎月１７日に行われる近くの観音様の祭りの日。１年のはじめとあってかなりの賑わいだった。安産の神様とあって若い夫婦もたくさん参拝していた。

カモメ
写真を撮る時間がないので、仕事に行く途中の島田川でカモメを撮影。ＩＳＯを2500にしたのが大失敗。シャッタースピードを２０００分の１秒で鳥をしっかり止めたいと思った。データを確認しないまま撮り続ける。ＩＳＯ４００でもいけたのに。

孫の手
孫娘は４歳。今がかわいい盛り。私の父親も元気に孫娘と遊んでいる。孫娘は「ジジ」と呼ぶべき相手が誰なのか迷っている。私のことを母親の父だとは思っているが、どう呼ぶべきかわからないでいる。したがって今のところ私は正体不明の親族である。いつまでもこの状態が続くことを願っている。

寒い年末年始
この年末年始は近年になく寒かった。車の窓も朝方こんな風に凍りついていた。 島根県の山奥のほうに里帰りした妹一家は帰ってくるのに命がけだったようだ。それに比べればこちらはずいぶん楽な正月だった。
