冬日
最近twitter や Facebook などにおされてこれまでのブログが時代遅れになってきているようだ。web上のいろいろなサイトがこれまでのサービスを停止し始めている。ＢＢＣの翻訳は日記代わりに勝手にやっているだけなのでこれからも続けていくつもりだが、写真のほうはアップロードが面倒臭くなってやめるかもしれない。いつも変な写真ばかり載せているので、これも関係ないか。

Highway driving
Driving on the express highway makes me a little nervous.I seldom use it.Last Sunday I drove after a long interval.On the way back home, the sun was sinking and the sunlight was so straight into my eyes that I had to be much careful.Besides the trafic was very heavy.After driving a little while, I had very much stiff shuolder.With my eyesight weaking year by year, I think I have more difficulty in driving on the express highway, especially at twilight and in the darkness.

Kurashiki
Yesterday I visited Kurashiki.I felt a little chilly but the weather was not so bad.As you know , this area is famous for its Japanese traditional beauty.Once it was a deserted town in spite of its prosperity in Edo period.Around 1970 this area was renovated to attract visitors.Since then, the number of visiors has increased.Now this district is so sophisticated that it appears like a historical amusement park.

１２月が近づくと郵便局前で年賀状の売り出しを連日している。今日は天候が悪く、寒い。それでも局員の人は通行人に「年賀状は要りませんンか」と元気に頑張っている。本当にご苦労さんです。
