What kind of movie do you like to see?"
Well, recently I like to see the series of Harry Potter...Harry Potter and the Philosopher's StoneandHarry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. My son and me sometimes see them and enjoy them."
"Well, first, there is a photograph of my son in his baby time. Second, on the wall, there are pictures of the Pocket Monster's characters. My son and me have drawn together."
What is the Pocket Monsters? Please explain that."
"Well,...ah...the Pocket Monsters are a kind of cartoon characters. But they are made into game characters and movies. Nintendo, the famous Japanese company, created them. Their movies made a big hit in Japan and in America in the past...so, all the Japanese and American children, especially elementary school children or younger children love these characters."
Oh, thank you. Your explanation was very good. I see."
そこで私は、 "Yes, there is a sculpture in front of the station, which shapes like human hands,...so it symbolizes humanity, friendship, and love."
"Next, it's your turn. What do you think it is? Can you say it is an art?"
"Ah...well, I can't think this is an art. I think rather it would be something like a sample. So, if it is exhibited in some place, I feel it's a poor animal. I can't call it an art."
Actually, I don't like modern arts. But I like the Picasso's work...ah...especially his masterpieceGuernica, because Picasso painted the victims of war in a small Spanish village...but such works as abstract, I don't really understand them."
Thank you everyone. See you again.
"You had no problem with today's topic. You should concentrate on your accuracy. Make an effort to speak slowly and clearly. Remember to concentrate on using the correct article (a, an, the, etc.) at the correct time. I recommend making a recording of yourself reading a passage. Listen to it and then rerecord it and make an effort to make your pronunciation sound more like your teachers. You speak well but improving your pronunciation will take you a step closer to fluency. I hope to see you in class again soon. (Daniel)"
